Up Close and Personal Battle with Mylor !

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, there is Up Close and Personal ruleset that only allow monster with melee attack to go to the battlefield, let's start this session !

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

Rules set:

Up Close and Personal : only monster with melee attack are allowed
Splinter available : Earth, Life, Death, and Dragon Is Available
29 mana cap : medium mana cap for combination

My Lineup's Explanation :

Position	Ability	Strategy
Summoner	Thorn	important summoner because only melee are allowed. Thorn will giving back 2 melee damage to them.
Tanker	Shield	Reduce damage taken while giving back thorn to enemies
2nd Monster	-	high health to take damage while giving back thorn
3rd Monster	Demoralize	Reduce enemies melee damage by 1 and tank some damage.
4th Monster	Thorn	More monster mean more thorn !
5th Monster	Retaliate	Hurt the sneaker with the thorn and retaliate ability, plus giving some range damage to enemies !

I got the lead after enemies lose their 3rd monster. It's 3 vs 2 for my team now !

Final battle, elephant vs bat !

No problem for the big creature to win the game !

Discuss About Up Close and Personal :

What Should We Get :
Anticipation for melee attack with thorn, shield, and demoralize is important, and having armor improvement is good as well. Also try getting monster with another attack option such as melee with range or magic, because enemies will anticipate for melee as well.

What Should We Avoid:
Don't get monster with low health assasin because enemies will anticipate it.

What would i do next ?

I will try bring quora for the battlefield if it's possible

Conclussion

In up and close battle, the monster available are very limited with melee attack only monster is available. Anticipate enemies melee with usefull ability such as thorn, shield, and demoralize. Also try getting monster with another attack option such as range or magic, because enemies will anticipate for melee damage as well.
