When divine shield meet cripple ruleset | Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secret Challenge

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, there is holy protection ruleset where all monster is getting 1 chance to nerve all damage. But today i don't just share a normal holy protection battle, but also the cripple ruleset following it, which cause the monster would get health reduction even if they nerve the damage because of the cripple. Let's enjoy the show ~

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

Rules set:

Holy Protection : All monsters are having divine shield ability
Tis but Scratches : All monsters are having the cripple ability
55 mana cap: High mana cap for many strategy
Splinter available : Water, life, and dragon splinters are available

My Lineup's Explanation :

2nd Monsterimage.pngReachGreat damage and health, which makes this squid is very suitable for both helping attack and become a second tanker.
3rd Monsterimage.pngHealA support for the tanker and sub tanker with his heal ability. Got 1 range damage as well to waste enemies divine shield or armor, and giving damage.
4th Monsterimage.pngSnipeA hitter with 2 range damage and snipe ability
5th Monsterimage.pngSnipeAnother hitter with snipe ability, got higher range damage to hurt enemies.
6th Monsterimage.pngScattershotMain hitter with 4 range damage. Put her last because he got decent health and armor, and having highest damage.

Does My Strategy is Worked ? :

All buff are applied, and every monster is attacking following the speed turn. No one is eliminated due to holy protection that is needed to be break with 1 attack. It's still 6-6 situation at the end of 1st round.

My team started to dominate the battle after eliminateng enemies venari wavesmith and the narissa up front with high health and damage. Meanwhile, i also lost my tank this turn. It's 5 vs 4 at the end of 2nd round for my team.

My team become more dominant after eliminating 2 monsters at 3rd round, and finish the match at 4th round!

Discuss About Holy Protection :

What Should We Get :
Because 1 hit will be wasted for each monster, focussing damage is great choice, but be carefull enemies would anticipate it, that's why splitting it into 2 monster still considerably good to prevent the tanker is super hard. Try filling all slot with monsters, because even if it just for wasting enemies damage, the divine shield would cause enemies waste even more damage !

What Should We Avoid: Avoid trying split your damage into everything with all scattershot and too many combination (normal damage, sneak, opportunity, snipe, and scattershot). Also avoid trying win the battle with just 1 meta monsters, because they had to battle for longer time due to the divine shield that enemies got.
What would i do next ?
I will try with blast, because it is very usefull to cancel the divine shield of enemies beside the main target.

Conclussion

Divine shield giving chance all monster to had 1 chance to nerve all damage, that's why filling all the slot is great idea to waste enemies attack. Try focussing your damage, because you need extra turn to hit single target with divine shield is activated.
