Brawl Report #1 - Soul Reapers

So this post is in response to @kennysgaminglife. So just a couple of hours back, he initiated this new thing about having a Brawl Report. Enticed by the idea, I was thinking sure why not! Also, might be helpful to share a bit of what I learn from the brawl!

Now if you have been following my post thus far, you would know that I am pretty new to both the game and the idea of blogging, which I feel might be the best thing for new players as we will both be exploring together, instead of the incumbents telling you how to do it back at their time. I used to receive comments such as "Purchase a Mylor Cowling at less than USD$2". I was like wait, Mylor Cowling at $2? Which realm are you living at man??? Hahaha. Alright enough yakking, Brawl time!

Now maybe I can share my experiences and lessons learnt for this post. Now if you are an avid player, I believe you would be aware that recently the players from SEA seems to be hit with some technical glitch, causing the cards and matches to go missing. Unfortunately, I was not aware when this happened! I woke up and played my first match of Brawl, only to realise that there is this glitch! I turned to my Guild for help, and only then did I realise about this issue. I thus used the web browser on my Mobile to complete the other matches. Due to the limitations of the web browser, my lineups were a wreck as it was practically impossible to swap monster lineups in it. Thankfully, I was able to enter the lineups in my fray for the remaining battles.

But... here is the lesson learnt. Moving forward from the recent patch, Brawl rewards Merits which can be used for the Gladius Case. But do you know, if you were to flee from just one match (for me is unintentionally due to the glitch), even if you have input your lineups for the rest of the fray, you will NOT be earning any Merits for that Brawl. However, the silver lining is that your guild mates will not be affected by this and the amount of crowns will not be affected as well.

So in summary, the moment you do not finish inputting your lineups, missing even just one of them, your Merits will be forfeited for that Brawl.

Now enough about the lesson learnt, now to thank @kennysgaminglife for this idea generation and the curation! Also not forgetting the really awesome Guild that I am in, "Soul Reapers". I am new and unsure about the Guild Rankings and all. But if you are looking at a Guild full of nice people that are literally helping one another and encouraging in all manners, this is the place. In fact, many of the post that I made here are all inspired and taught by them. For a new player like me, this is literally the perfect guild! I don't know what are the entry requirements (or if they are even recruiting), but if you are looking for a guild, try Soul Reapers! You will not regret it!
