Weekly Challenge - Mycelic Morphoid

Now another week of weekly challenge, and boy am I glad to rejoin this again. Now for this week, we have Mycelic Morphoid. Honestly, I do use this monster but only during very specific match conditions like "Equaliser", or that I am merely using it as a fodder.

Even at higher levels, it has the Thorns ability which is useful. But with such low health, it cannot fully utilise the abilities to the fullest.

As you can see from this match, the Mycelic Morphoid I pretty much used it as a fodder. I am using a all Magic Earth line up, whereas my opponent is using a all Magic Water line up. When having such stand off match ups, I tend to position my damage dealers at the rear and the fodders in front. As for how to place the damage dealers, it is a balance between damage output as well as health. Many a times, a high damage output will mean a compromise in the health. So really got to strike the balance. The aim is to be able to consistently dish out as many magic attack as I can in a turn.

Now I am quite glad for my Centauri Mage, as it really did absorb a lot of damage and allowing my remaining magic monsters to finish the job. It is a close match, and the match went exactly like planned.

Now for Mycelic Morphoid, I will definitely use it but certainly not as my main pivotal character in my line up. Though it is not a main influential monster, it does work pretty well as a fodder. Under the right conditions like "Equaliser", it is quite effective. But by itself, I am unsure of its capabilities actually.
