Splinterlands: The Earth Color is Officially My Best Color and here is why
Playing splinterlands for 3 months now has been a rollercoaster of learning. When I started playing splinterlands initially, I was attracted to the fire monsters because I expected them to be really destructive, I mean it’s fire. I used the fire monster a lot, but last week was the first time I realized that I have been lucky using these monsters to win battles.
Ever since I took my time to re learn how the cards work and attack, I have fallen in love with the Earth color. I will share how I select my cards to win battles and why I decide to choose them in this order.
When using my earth cards I prefer to select these:
First of all I choose the earth summoner that gives an extra life. I’m choosing the Unicorn Mustang because it already has 3 Malee Attack ability, meaning that one hit can deplete your live by 3, but if I chose a summoner that gives extra Malee, coupled with the 1 extra malee attack from the summoner making it 4 lives depletion. The speed is 4 and the live is 10. Because the speed is 4, the chances of me having a better chance to hit first is very high. So this card is always placed in front to hit my opponent’s card and deplete the lives faster.
After the that i have this card next to it named the Stonesplitter Orc. This card is pretty cool because it also has 3 Malee attacks and it has the ability to retaliate.
Sometimes when I get the high mana privilege I choose the Rexxie card next. Look at this bad boy, with 4 Malee attack ability. Meaning it can deplete opponents life by 4 or destroy the armor all at once. It has 3 speed thingy, chances of me attacking first is high.
The next one I usually pick is the range attacker. The reason I choose Child of the forest is because of the speed. It’s 5, I need more chances of attacking first so I can hit and destroy my opponent more. The life is just 2, that’s it’s disadvantage. The range attack is just 1 meaning that it can only deplete the life by 1. Don’t really fancy this card, I only love the speed.
The magical attacker I love to use is the Centauri Mage. This card has a very good ability. It can redirect its hit back to the attacker.
There are other cards to choose from but I use these cards most times. If you have been losing a lot, my best advice is to go learn how to play the game all over again like a Newbie, it will help a lot

I am still in my first month of playing Splinterlands, so as you did, I am also attracted to fire element! I still don't understand the game very well and quite often I find myself in a series of lost games! I try to finish the daily quest and don't play more and this makes the learning curve wider.
