27K SPS Staked and moving Closer to 30k

I believe that it is very important to make the right decision at the right time when it comes to investment. My thought is simple with an investment that is mostly for the long term because I will leave this as the safest way to put our money and in most cases, returns are better than short-term investors. I have been playing splinterlands for almost 3 years and during this period I have tried my best to accumulate as many assets as possible. It is because I know that this is the time to build a valuable account on the game and later after a couple of years I will be happy with my decision for long-term investing in this game ecosystem.

Although it's been a year and a half since the SPS launch and I am still on with my SPS goal. I am happy to share that now I hold 27k SPS in total. I know that people are holding in bigger quantities like millions but I am not that much big of a player however I am still trying my best to accumulate as much as I can. This is a bear market and I believe it is a good time to accumulate through various ways and also buy from the market. My earlier plan was to have 20000 but then I surpassed my goal by converting some Dec to SPS. I am much closer to making it 30000 in total and hopefully, in the next, I should be there.

SPS is a governance coin of the game and it gives more power to the community. We can contribute towards the proposal in the project as well as we are given the preference to earn some rewards specifically build for SPS holders. For example, GLX is the ongoing airdrop that is given only to the people who are holding SPS in-game accounts. I have been doing the same since the beginning because this is helping me earn an APR of almost 25% and now this is also rewarding me with GLX every day which I think is a bonus keyboard on my long-term approach.

While there are so many assets in the game to own in the game but this time I more forecast on SPS because of the low price. It is a crypto market and we never know how the next movement will be and we may lose the opportunity of buying at a lower price. I do not want to miss this opportunity and this is the reason why I am trying to accumulate as much as I can. It is like discounted shopping that we are doing for SPS in the game because I know that soon or later SPS will reach its $1 mark. It may take a couple of years to be there and I am okay with that too because I am not in hurry. I had been accumulating throughout the year in 2021 and this process was started in mid of 2020. The current year 2023 is also going to be the same where I will be accumulating the token from the market purchase as well as whatever I earn to my holding on the game.

My land holding is also helping me earn a good amount of SPS. I hold some plots and this is my very long-term investment so I am happy that not this is paying me back in form of SPS. The idea behind holding these digital assets in the game is to generate a passive income and I am sure I should be able to do it in the next couple of years. While the game is fun but it is also allowing the community and players to build a source that can create passive income through gaming and un through the investment that we can do now for the future.

I keep on checking my goal for SPS from time to time because I do not want to lose focus. The current apr is almost 25% and through these, I can all around 15 SPS in a day. I am not counting other SPS received through packs and lands holding in the game and if I include this, then this reward gets even better.
