52K SPS tokens staked in the Splinterlands Account

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

Today it's the 1st of April and this day is also known as April Fool Day. People play different pranks today for fun but this is also the starting day for the financial year in India. The financial year starts on the 1st of April and ends on the 31st of March in India. SPS is still the type of token I am still bullish and trying to grow my balance. If you ask me what price we are going to see for SPS in the next bulletin cycle I would simply say that I don't know but all I know is that it is going to grow a lot.

The team splinterlands is trying to add more value to the ecosystem by bringing multiple changes. I hope that the changes are for the good of the game and hopefully, we will see the positive impact soon. S P S is a valuable token in the game and I'm not talking about it from the price point of view instead the use case of this token is excellent. I bought this token from the hive-engine marketplace and today I saw that the price was low so I bought another bunch of SPS tokens. I have purchased 500 tokens today that I also transferred to my game account. The moment I buy the token I also send it to my game account so that I can power it up.

I had some more tokens in my account altogether I have powered 516 tokens. As you see in the below snapshot where I am taking whatever tokens I have in my game account in liquid form. I powered up today on the first of the month and am now happy to fear that I have made it 52k sps.

The APR has increased a bit and it is more than 14% but since last week I have seen it around 13% so this increase is good. Hope you know that this APR reward is distributed in two tokens, including sps and vouchers. Voucher is the token that we can use on promotional sales of the game and hopefully, there will be good utility for this token soon.

My target is to have 60K SPS soon. Now after today, I am left with just 8K more SPS and will try to achieve it soon. If this price remains in the same range then probably I will be able to achieve it faster but can't say how the market will move. Holding spears is good because it is a valuable asset in the game and because it is a governance token also so we can expect more benefits on the way. Certainly, the price appreciation is one benefit but there are more apart from this like Apr and many other additional benefits offered to sps holders in the game. The reward multiplier is also another benefit that we cannot ignore and it is helping me to get a good APR along with a nice reward multiplier but I am trying to increase it further with 60k SPS.

So I'm happy to say that I have added over 500 SPS to my balance today and will be trying to continue doing the same. I have never started unstaking tokens and have no plan to do this in the next few years. The current value of my holding of SPS is not even $1000 in the current market price but this is still valuable and hopefully, this time when the price is low I can buy and add more tokens to the balance. It is part of my long-term strategy and I will continue following the same that I have been doing since 2021 when this token was launched.
