DEC Token going back to the Pegged Range

It's been a long time since we see that DEC is going back to its pegged range. It is pegged to USD and the value of 1000 DEC should be 1 US Dollar. It means the price of the DEC token is 0.001 but it was not there for so many months. It's good for the game and the reason behind this price spike is the launch of land. The use case of tokens is going to increase a lot in the game and because of the expansion of the land, the supply for DEC will be short. I do not have any bigger holding for this token as I have already invested to buy packs when I was earning through the rental. There is an option to burn SPS for Dec and if the supply of tokens will be short then we are going to see the burn for SPS in the game.

DEC in Lands

Lands on splinterlands game are going to be a big game changer and millions of DEC tokens are burnt for DEC-B and lands survey. We had the option to use Dec for Dec-b token along with vouchers and this has resulted in a burn for millions of Dec. Even during the survey, we need to use the Dec token to buy the starter and the cost for 1 is 10k Dec.

We cannot ignore the use case of this coin in the game because it is going to be a valuable asset in the game after the launch of the land. I think later on if rental will be providing better returns then I may think about doing it because that way I would be able to earn some Dec otherwise there is no option to earn this token.

Dec Price

Here is the chart for DEC and we can see that it's green in the last 7 days. It is also much closer to reaching 0.001 and that will make it match the pegged value which is the expected price. Let's see how it will move in the coming days and if in case we are going to see DEC getting pegged before the weekend.

We can not deny the fact that it is going to be a valuable token and if the supply will not be enough to accommodate lands then be ready for the burn of SPS. If that happens then it's also good as this will increase the demand for SPS and we can see positive momentum with Sps price. So this is going to be a good change in the game and more of this we can call it a valuable addition to the game.

Used my DEC for Lands

I had almost 62k DEC and during the survey, I used 60k DEC to boost my lands. I could not buy more dec but used it all for land. I think that it's a good decision. This was a one-time option and if you don't choose then you will not be getting it later on so it's better to go for it and grab it. There is a lot that we are going to see with Lands and I see so much excitement with players. It's been a long time since the chaos legion and hoping that this will take the game forwards.
