Rental DEC income used to Buy Tower Defence Packs

I have not been playing the battles for the last 3 seasons and rented out all my cards. This way I am earning Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) tokens daily. Now DEC is not part of the reward pool but we can not ignore the value of the token and its use case. It's like a currency of the splinterlands and we can use the DEC tokens to buy almost anything. This time it's not in the peg range and this is good if you are going to buy DEC tokens first and then packs because this way you will be able to earn a good discount. I think that it's more like a discounted shopping through DEC payment in splinterlands but I highly doubt that it will not stay for long. Once it is back in the peg range then the fun is over. In the ideal scenario, 1000 DEC should be worth 1 USD and the currency 1000 DEC tokens value is almost $0.63 so there is a flat discount of 37%.

I bought Tower Defence packs

Tower Defense is a new addition to the splinterlands game ecosystem and as of now, this is not live yet. It's just the pre-sale and then the general sale of the packs and still, there is a lot that needed to be revealed by the splinterlands team. I hope that they will do it soon and for that, we need to keep an eye on the account to see when they post about however they keep on sharing some updates and progress through discord. I have earned approx 100k DEC through my rental income and same I used it today to buy 20 TD packs. One pack cost 8000 DEC but if we add 1 voucher token then there is a discount of 3000 DEC and I did the same. I have voucher tokens and used the same amount of tokens and I got 20 packs for 100k DEC.

I am happy that I could buy 20 packs through my rental income and I will continue to accumulate more DEC so that I can buy more packs later. I am not very much aware of it but I know that buying now is a good idea Things are yet to unfold and hopefully this will bring better profitability to me. There was so much action in September month and because of all that I could not buy more SPS so my growth has been slow here. Though I could not buy but I kept on staking my SPS reward and this is how I tried to increase the holding but it's not so big.

Lands reward Proposal Passed

Recently the proposal to reward land holders has been passed and I got to know that this reward will be effective from 11th October. Probably I have missed the post or update about it my dear friend @mistakili has confirmed that there will be 40 SPS rewards monthly for each land we hold in the game account. I have also seen some discussion in splinterlands discord about it and people are talking about moving land assets to the game accounts. I have 6 lands so this way I will be able to earn 240 SPS in a month and this will help me grow my SPS holding. I think that it's a good time to bag as much as SPS we can as we never know if later we will get this kind of opportunity.

There are many things in the game that I want to buy but I have limited funds and it's not possible for me to buy everything in one go. I am just trying ways to buy things in parts and slowly I will be able to build my account. I am not in hurry and I have patience so I will continue to do the same and hopefully after a couple of years my game account will make me feel great.
