Splinterlands- Achieved 5k SPS Staked Milestone

SPS is a very well-known name in the splinterlands game and everyone who is holding assets in the game has been getting SPS airdrop. It has been 130 days of airdrop and during this period there was also the pre-sale of CL packs and every SPS stakeholder got VOUCHER tokens. A voucher is a high-value token and its required to buy CL packs during the sale. I was getting around 1 voucher token that I used to buy CL packs for me and also used SPS to pay which provided me an additional 10% discount.

Those who are playing splinterlands games or are holding game assets are well aware of the SPS token and how this token has changed the overall scenario significantly. Still, I would like to mention that SPS is a governance token that is getting airdropped daily on the basis of game assets holding, and a snapshot is taken every day.

I am happy that now I got 5k SPS staked my account and this count down is on so I would be able to increase the SPS holding even more. I stake all my SPS airdrop every day because it brings value in 2 ways to me. First I get an APR of almost 50% with my SPS stake which makes me earn more tokens. Second, with another voucher distribution, I would be able to earn more voucher tokens which means, I have the opportunity to buy more CL packs. This time voucher distribution will be doubled which is great that simply gives us the chance to buy more CL packs.

The current value of my SPS holing is 1835$ and its low because the SPS price is dropped but that is not the concern because I have seen it happen before as well and since my plan is not to sell this value does not matter to me as of now. SInce another sale is coming which will surely require more staking to get more vouchers and that will work to increase the SPS price.

Its been 131 days of SPS airdrop and taken earning and in this period of 131 days, I have been staking all my tokens. Staking apr has reduced which was bound to happen since more people are taking and with increased staking, APR will surely go down.

I have accumulated 5312 tokens in total (to be precise) that value $1835 as of now where the token price is $.34. If I take an example that I will earn almost 1500 approx tokens in a month then after 12 months I will have more than 18k or tokens in my account. Considering the expected holding of 15k SPS I have achieved 33% of it and this is good for me. SPlinterlands team has shared once that there will be many more opportunities for SPS holders in the future so its very important to hold SPS and grab these upcoming earning opportunities.

Here is the chart of SPS tokens from hive-engine and the price has been continuously falling with the pair of hive tokens. Its because hive price has increased that's why there is constant drop movement in the price. I did buy some SPS and eyeing to buy more if it continues because if I stake more SPS then I would be able to have more vouchers in the upcoming sale.
