Staking Splintershards (SPS) with 24% APR Worthy?

This year is ending in couple of days and last week I shared an update my SPS goal is achieved. I am happy that I did it on time and even I surpassed my SPS goal which is fantastic. I had staked all my SPS in-game accounts because I want to get the maximum GLX airdrop and I expect that GLX will be another valuable coin.

I always believe that the bear market is the best time to accumulate the maximum number of coins in a portfolio however it is also important to choose the ones which are built on a solid project. We can also say that investing in a valuable and growing project is important then only we can expect some great returns from it. My decision of investing in the splinterlands ecosystem is good because the project is doing good and in the growth phase. Currently, the value is down because the market is going through a tough time and it is bear sentiment.

Everything is dependent on the Bitcoin price so if Bitcoin is down then we can see a similar effect in the remaining market and once Bitcoin price recovers then also we can see a similar positive impact in the market. Now since we are ending the year in a couple of days you cannot expect anything great this year but the next year 2023 can be a great year for all of us.

The reason why I believe investing in SPS is good is that with this I can earn multiple coins which I don't think is available elsewhere. The currently offered apr with SPS is more than 24% and on top of it, we can earn GLX tokens which is the governance coin for genesis League sports. So for example, if my investment in SPS remains the same for the next year and there is no monitoring road then also it is earning, and that too with a significant amount of the returns on my investment.

Currently, my SPS holding is approximately 27000 tokens and with the current rate of passive income, I expect that next 3 to 4 months I will be able to accumulate a total of 30000 coins in my account. This is what I am expecting to happen and there is no guarantee of course because it is the market and we never know how things are going to be in the market. It can go in a few hours and sometimes it can also go against us so we do not have any control over the market but we can surely plan a proper strategy that can help us achieve the goals.

I know that apr has dropped for SPS but I still believe that the current APR is a good option in the crypto market as compared to other instruments available in the traditional market. We cannot expect to earn a return like 24% with banks and financial institutions so I think it is a great idea to keep the talk on in the game and keep on earning this fantastic annual percentage rate.

I expect that things are going to be exciting in the crypto market as well as in the splinterlands came in the next couple of years. I have already rented out all my cards and this way I am earning a DEC token every day. Although my income is reduced from rental in the game & I think it is good for me as of now because my schedule is busy and playing every day since difficult for me. So I will continue to deposit all my SPS the way I do and even I will continue to play the game through the rental to generate some passive income. One selfie like I have enough time to play the battles then I will think of coming out of the rental and plan out my gameplay.
