The Recent changes in Splinterlands

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

I have been trying to play a game every day and trying to figure out if anything is going to be problematic in the game after the recent changes. This is not the first time when Splinterland has made such changes in the game as there have been multiple scenarios when changes were implemented. I remember the time when they introduced multiple leaderboards which was also a good change but now it is not part of the game anymore. Another change was the restriction of collection power in which the team wanted to give people the reward they deserved according to the card holding. They even introduced sps as part of the reward and removed dec from the reward pool. So I'm saying there have been multiple scenarios when changes were implemented in the game and all these were gone through smoothly without any chaos.

I have advanced to the Gold league now but this is indicative because in reality there is no league. It is just visible in the game to see where we are playing now if we want to compare to the last options are playing the game. Now we do not get the option to stay in the current league or move to the next because that option is removed from the game and this is what has been implemented. We still get the notification of change in the league and I believe this should be removed also after some time but till the time it is there it is good for us to have better visibility. For example, you can see that I have entered in gold one league but even if I don't click on keep playing then also it will move to the next because this model is not working anymore.

I play Beatles in wild format and this season is ending in about 20 hours. I am sharing my experience of the game change now because this season will be ending soon which is less than one day. I have already gone through the announcement post for the changing game and I was trying to figure out if there is any bug or technical glitch in the game. I'm happy to share that I could not find anybody in the game and everything was working smoothly like before. It is good and we should be happy and thank the team for the work they have done to make this change easy and comfortable for the community.

Even after this change, we need high-level cards for better gaming. You can ask me the question why I play in the wild and not modern. My answer is that I have the majority of cards from the Chaos Legion edition. I did buy a lot of cards from the market from Chaos Legion Edition and thereafter I did not do any big buys but still have planned to buy from Rebellion. I know it is expensive as compared to Chaos but it's okay because this is my plan and we'll try to do this in mid of this year.

I don't think that I need to mention that this is so much fun and I enjoy playing each battle on the game. I have also achieved a 50,000 SPS balance recently I'm very happy to have it. This is not for a short time investing and I am not going to book profit. This is invested in a better gaming experience. I'm going to continue doing this but even if the price goes up I will not be worried because I have achieved this cool but still if the price stays like this I will buy more and make it 60K this year.
