Voucher Moving towards $1 and Riftwatchers Pre-Sale Strategy

Splinterlands is a fantastic game that keeps on surprising us from time to time. This is also one of the reasons why the community participates in promotions and events. The vouchers token was launched last year after the launch of the SPS token and at that time this token was introduced with additional benefits of pack purchase for Chaos Legion. There was a time when the voucher token price was very high and it was more than 20 hive tokens at some point in time. The voucher token was rewarded to everyone who started staking SPS token and initially there was a very good reward. Even now we get the staking reward combined with SPS and voucher tokens.

In the first sale of Chaos Legion packs, voucher token was providing additional benefits to the buyers and that's when the price of token went sky high. After that event, splinterland has been trying to add a better use case but I don't think there was any which really made a big difference in the price. Although a 10% bonus pack was an option however it was not working well for the price. Now things are changing and looks like this token has got a very nice use case in the ecosystem.

Voucher token Price Increase

The voucher token price was less than 50 cents 2 days back unless there was no announcement for the upcoming pack called Rift watchers. Splinterlands has announced that they will be a need for water tokens for each pack purchase in pre-sale as well as later also and that is why it seems a lot of people started buying it open in the market. So this way we can say that voucher will always be part of the purchase if you are buying the back from the website. There will be no need to buy a voucher if you are planning to buy the pack some the market and these packs will not be eligible for the airdrop.

The upcoming pack is named Riftwatchers and it is available under the gems section in the shop. The countdown has already started and as of now, it is left for 4 days which means this is the time in which we need to plan this strategy. I'm trying to have some balance of SPS tokens so that I can buy the packs during the pre-sale and I already hold voucher tokens so that is not an issue for me. I don't need to buy any voucher tokens because my current holding is good enough and hopefully I can even sell some which can help me to have more paths purchased during the pre-sale

Purchase plan for Riftwatchers

This is a mini edition of the card and the supply is also limited which is just 3 million. I believe that this will bring a lot of value to the game and this is the reason why it is a good idea to buy the packs as much as possible during the presale so that we can be eligible for the upcoming airdrops. The airdrop will be happening with each sale of 500k sold out. Because the supply is less so whoever buys a minimum of 50 packs will be eligible for the cards airdrop. I am surely going to buy the packs but am not sure of the quantity. I am trying my best to arrange the SPS balance so that I can buy the maximum number of cards possible. I hold more than 200 voucher tokens so I need not buy this however I keeping a close eye on the price of tokens to see if I can get an opportunity to convert some SPS through this way. If I see a better price then I will try to do the conversion.

I have stopped buying any cards at the moment because as of now I am focused on the upcoming pack sale. I keep on investing in the game through various stuff and after the same, I will think about the next strategy for the investment in the game.
