What Makes me believe in SPS for Long term

SPS aka Splintershards is a governance token in splinterlands. There is a difference between a normal coin and a governance coin in any project because governance coins are launched with some additional benefits which are not part of another coin if the project had multiple tokens. This was launched in the year 2021 and since then we have seen a long journey of this token. Its all-time high value was almost $1.00 and now it is less than three cents which means we can say that there is a huge price drop of about 95%. Do you think now this coin will reach back there after such a big price value drop?

The current price is very low and I agree with the fact that it will take some time to grow its value but still, I am bullish on this token. The current value is not a concern for me instead I believe the increased use case will make it much more valuable than what it is now. The use case of sps in the game is increasing and this is what can play a very important role in the game to grow its value. Here are some of the reasons why I still believe in this token and not going to sell anything that I hold.

• This was one of the biggest AirDrop that I have ever seen that continued for one year so it is obvious that people will sell and book the profit. I did not do this. Since the beginning, I had the thought to hold it for the long term because I believe in the game and its long-term road map. I did not sell even when the value was almost $1.00 because I did not want my focus to get distracted and I can say that I have been following the long-term strategy since the beginning.
• I have recently accumulated a total of 30,000 sps and it took about one and a half years for me. The current apr itself is very good which is more than 21%. This percentage is good enough to stay with sps for the long term because we cannot earn a search higher percentage in anything other than the crypto market.
• I have accumulated 30K tokens in total but that is not the end for me because I still accumulate every day and will continue to do the same. I am more interested to increase the holding by apr and through gaming instead of selling and book the profit. Profit booking is a one-time action that anyone can do but with this, we also close the door to rewards that we are going to get.
• There are things that we cannot ignore and it is about sps that there will be many upcoming benefits for holding the token in the long term and this was already communicated by the team. When I know that there will be multiple benefits just for the holding sps for long then I should not be thinking beyond because this way I can lose the benefit which I would never want to do.
• There is another exciting update that we are going to see soon in the game which is the replacement of collection power with sps holding I expect that this will bring more demand for sps so just try to accumulate as many as you can.

SPS is a gem coin that is available at a highly discounted price as of now and with my limited resources, I am trying to grab as many as I can. I am not sharing any financial advice in this post but to be honest that I believe in SPS and at least half dollar sps will not be far away. I think just one update or announcement is enough to boost the price to that level and then it might not be possible for me to buy more that time so I am trying to be ready in advance to deal with that situation
