End game of the play || Next Step...

It has been an amazing season in the land of Splinterlands. I was not expecting this much excitement within the game. Since, I have been playing after so much time I was not expecting to get much of a fun from the game play. But seems like I was assuming in the wrong way.

Excitement

Talking about my level of enthusiasm for the whole season, I have been playing the game whenever I was free. It sort of became more like an obsession to me. Yes, as funny as it sounds I have been getting all sorts of mixed feelings by playing the game the whole season. There was fun, excitement, anger (from loosing the game lol) also their was the joy of victory from playing the game. Last but not the least there was the enthusiasm to get to know how to become better and polish the game play as smooth as possible. To be honest it is going to take a lot of time to get back into the game like before.

My Stats

I was under the impression back before playing, that I will just come in and smash as many players as possible and just get going with the season. Such impudent thought of mine huh! Upon going up against players, I slowly started to realize this is the battle field which I was not a part of for a long time and I have been making assumptions all along.

I played over 500 matches last season. That does sounds pretty over the board. As I was going through the leaderboard I realized, I was sort of out of the table lol. Making all sorts of mistakes and yet expecting to reach out to somewhere down the pipeline.

Rewards

The rewards were not that much! As compared to the time that I have spend for the last few days, these are nothing. But I have been enjoying playing the game and I was sort of excited to get the focus chests and the season chests all along.

Improvements

---

It is no doubt that the game has evolved since its inception. More rules have been added, more cards were added and so did many players and not to forget the bots. While coming to talk about the game play, my strategies have been improving and I am slowly getting used to different rule sets and as well as learning to improve my usage of different cards. Currently as you may see the number of green vs the red is increasing. I am quite happy with the progress made from the game play of mine during the last few days.

Next step

My initial goal was to stay at bronze league but it was quite irrestible to try the upper league and at last I switched to try out silver league. To be honest, that was not really a good decision based on the cards that I have atm. Thus, I am planning to stay at bronze league for as long s possible. By which I can polish my skills with the cards and get to learn about them and their use case in the battle fields.

I want to upgrade my cards and take them to the next level in the upcoming days. In addition to the everyday focus chest, I want to try the battle field of tournaments. Yep, this is going to be one of the toughest task to accomplish but in the coming seasons it sure is going to happen. Fingers crossed.

Currently, I am focusing on EARTH deck as I prefer to use this deck mostly in the battlefield. Once this is taken care of I will move into fire, water and death deck respectively. I do not play much with life deck, so that is not much of a priority as of the moment.

Well, so far, I would see how things turns out in the coming seasons and hopefully, they will be positive for me along the way.
