Expecting the UnExpected Season End....

Splinterlands season has ended! It has been an exciting season for me. I was able to explore a lot with my monsters. I witnessed some amazing plays from my opponents which made me do some tweaks in my gameplay. This is what what happens when you play against someone better in the battle field. The battle field is the place to explore, learn, build tactics and keep on growing!

Since the season has ended, the rewards were awaiting for the players to open. While I was expecting a lot to be honest from the season end rewards. But seems like the rewards have not been that pleasant. Although, I have just began I will probably need to explore even more in the coming seasons to get something out from here.

My season end rewards

I ended my season at Golden league. I was hoping to get some decent rewards from the season end but seems like there is much more going on in the battle field. That being said, this is where I ended up this season. Nothing much but just below 1000 rating in the game. I have been playing quite a lot in the last season. 279 battles all together and 158 wins. I need to work on the winning streak. Well it is going to be working

Upon opening the rewards for the season, I was shocked and utterly surprised at first glance. As I said, in the 90 chests I was expecting there would be something which would excite me to go for the next season. But it was not like that. As you may see, for the last 14-15 days after playing these many battles I was awarded with these rewards!

Now I am familiar with these types of rewards! As I have been playing Splinterlands for quite a lot of time. I know how I usually feel upon completing a season and getting something as reward. This phase is real troublesome. I am used to it, like other players ;)

• JOIN THE GAME
• PURCHASE A DECK
• PLAY EVERYDAY
• EARN DAILY QUESTS
• GET USED TO THE PLAY
• AFTER FEW SEASONS, GET INTO TOURNAMENTS

The initial stage is described above! Although there are other ways to get some decent rewards from the game. LAND, Validator Nodes etc....

But to be honest, when you think about the fact, when a new user joins the community of Spplinterlands and upon investing a certain amount in the game he/she will be getting rewards worth of penny it would be pretty difficult to keep them playing the game. As at the end of the day we do need a good ROI. And if we fail to deliver that, it will be difficult to keep a player within the game. As lets be honest, earning from tournaments is really no go for a newbies. And it would now require quite a hefty amount of investment and time to cope up with the game in order to get something from the game.

Well, lets see how the current season works out for me. I am aware the more up the board I go the merrier the rewards gets! I need to focus my energy on the that for now. And I would like to keep on pushing myself to get better from the last day.
