Grinding in the land of Play To Earn game (Splinterlands)

The overall crypto market has been moving for the past couple of days, mostly based on different news related to the OG crypto, BTC! Rumors, false breakouts and market pumping and dumping, everything is sort of creating the true nature of crypto market, aka Volatility! But yet, it does feels great to see the market moving again and something good might be up for us in the coming days.


Amidst, all this we have seen a new update from the recent townhall of Splinterlands. A lot has been cooking up for us all. Multiple updates have been made and the results of those updates are slowly being seen in the everyday gameplay of Splinterlands.

There has been some price acceptance in DEC and SPS for the last couple of days. Dec has been able to see the price of 0.0009 value and SPS is lurking around 0.018 per SPS. Which is somewhat comforting compared to the price of these tokens for the last couple of days. We sure are expecting for both these tokens to reach to a higher high and make wonders.


With the recent update of Splinterlands on the pipeline, where some updates has already seen the lime light! It is a good addition to the game itself. While the SPS staking multiplier, has created a new way of thinking for holding or getting hands on SPS for an account. Whereas, it is sort of giving some mixed vibes from the players. But it sure has given some additional boost to the use case of SPS. Which would work for the time being. Although, more use cases for the governance token would be much appreciated in the coming days, that's for sure!

BOTS or No BOTS

Now that, this update has been implemented we will see some nice changes in thinking about holding SPS and make proper use of SPS for the coming days. With this current update from Splinterlands, a demand of SPS has been created. If a player wants some additional rewards, he/she/bot has to get hands on SPS. Or play it the other way and just be happy with what you are getting from the ranked battle matches. Thus rental market for SPS has been jumped into the frame and now staked SPS hodlers can make some additional rewards and also help other genuine users to get some additional rewards. Also this update would reduce some bot activity within the game. Well, not entirely the bots can be depleted but this would be a moment of laughter as they will be getting much less rewards as of now, due to the update. While, they can buy SPS from the market and stake them to get the bigger slice of the pie. Which was indeed the motive of the update ;)

While I suppose there will be more third party features coming along the way for this market. Its good to see even in this condition of the overall crypto market, we are seeing some updates from the team of Splinterlands. I just wish that with everything that is coming up in the land of splinterlands, we do not forget about the core purpose of the game. Which is to bring sustainability for the game to run years and years in the future. Make the game more and more user friendly.
