Handling out Free money in HIVE Blockchain....
One of the most exciting part of being in the blockchain is getting an airdrop or getting rewards passively for something you own in your portfolio. Over the last couple of years, being in crypto world there has been some very good incidents which gave me the opportunity to get some decent airdrops. Some of them were whooping $100's of dollars and some even more. I have never been able to win a lottery in my real life. This feeling of being eligible for an airdrop is no less excitement than winning a lottery!

One of the airdrop which I remember last was Optimism. An airdrop which I got to be eligible due to the fact of doing some task on Gitcoin. It was roughly about $500 during the airdrop that I got. That was something which I was not really expecting at all. But it was something which I needed very badly during the moment.
Talking about HIVE, there has been multiple incidents where I was eligible for airdrops and also obtaining rewards for holding tokens in my portfolio. I must admit, the rewards have been very exciting over the years and some of them even lasted for a whole damn year. Where would I find such exciting gifts and that even for this long.
The ongoing rewards which users are getting on HIVE blockchain are as folows :

- SPS Staked reward (GLX)

The token initiated by @raymondspeaks and so far the utility of this token has been quite unique. The funds raised from this token is being used in HIVE blockchain and also there are many benefits of holding this token into a wallet. To name a few as of this moment, another token which is known as LEGION, is being airdropped everyday to the holders of BRO token! Currently I am getting 0.47 LGN everyday for holding almost 86 BRO token in my wallet.

At current market price I have so far received approx $21 worth of tokens in my wallet. This airdrop will keep on going for a year and already few weeks have been passed so far.
Along with this utility, there has been another reward which has been going on for holding BRO tokens in a wallet. As a content creator getting upvotes in terms of appreciation is much welcomed. BRO token holders gets a specific amount of upvote everyday (more bro token, more worth of vote 344,318 HP) in their posts for holding BRO tokens. As a content creator myself, this is a huge boost and helps me motivated to create contents. Not a bad way to utilize the token and make it worth while to hold in a wallet.
SPS staked in a wallet
In the year 2022, we were taken by surprise by the team of Splinterlands. We got a year full of gift from the team. Accounts which hold more assets got a surprising amount of SPS airdropped into their account everyday for a year long. Which ended recently and as of now another healthy campaign is going on for the community.
GLX, another token of the ecosystem of Splinterlands company! Another game which is being built and currently under modification. The token of it being airdropped to the community everyday for a year long. Few weeks have already passed and so far it has been going great for me and others who are eligible for the airdrop.
Nothing much needs to be done but one can easily be a part of this airdrop by staking SPS in their Splinterlands wallet. Also there are other significant ways to be eligible but this has been the easiest for me to accumulate some GLX token and also get rewarded along the way. Just for a note an additional reward is out there for staking GLX token in their official website. So a win win situation for us all.
Although there are other significant ways to get rewarded by holding tokens/coins in the HIVE ecosystem such as HP, HBD and so on.
While these two coins BRO and SPS has been an eye opener for me in several ways. As I have seen various projects in the past which did promised this and that but the end results have not been the one that they have promised. These tokens are different in that criteria and fulfilling the promises made by the team behind it.
While I am satisfied with what I am getting at the moment from these two tokens. I intent to hold them for long term as well. And I would definitely like to know more, if you have any other tokens in mind which is giving something similar as returns in terms of investments.

this is something I want to explore this weekend, I notice Im getting multiple tokens as I create and engage on Hive but have no idea what they worth or the utility, I have never been on an airdrop, did read about a big one the Uniswap when I was doing research on how to use DEX, will take a look into BRO and LGN, thx
