HIVE Blockchain || Printing Future of its consumers.....
The bear market has taught us significant lessons during the time period! Passive income is probably a must in every single person's life. May that it come from real life work/job, or even from crypto. Survival from crypto alone is very very difficult, let alone in a crypto bear market! But a source of passive income can help us grow along this duration and make us prepare for the bull run that majority of us seek. Luckily, HIVE offers such income and many of us has survived the winter season of crypto, due to the existence of HIVE and its eco system.
Providing Liquidity (A Risky Investment)
This chapter is sort of confusing and also can hamper the overall investment in short term. So this is a long term strategy, which can make a decent amount of money based on the proper situation. The impermanent loss is the most scariest part in here. I have been in a liquidity pool for couple of months. The significant reduce of rewards is being seen out there. in pair SPS-Swap.HIVE I have lost 337 HIVE and gained 7104 SPS in my liquidity. And not to forget the price decrease of both these coins have affected my overall liquidity value.
But the rewards that I have been getting for providing this liquidity has made me earn some additional SPS everyday. For that I am happy. I am getting to accumulate SPS everyday. Although, my DEC:SPS value is not that higher which is why I am skipping that part for now. But I do wish to keep it growing over time.
I am sort of hampered out there but I am happy realizing the fact that I have two assets in place, where either one rises in the next bull market, I will be able to take out all my profit from that one coin. That is always behind my mind. And so far I am happy with the returns that I am current getting from my liquidity.
HBD (Hive Backed Dollar)
The stable currency of Hive blockchain, which provides 20% APR is probably by far the biggest APR of a stable coin. Also the potential risk of HBD getting DE-pegged is far less from other stable coins. Although, it has seen some ups and downs in its price but the algo-rhythm provided helps it keep in its price point. By that I mean, the recovery of HBD is much faster and effective than any other stable coins. 100k staked HBD could generate 20k HBD a year. That's almost 1,666 HBD per month. As passive income in terms of staking stables that is an attractive ROI.
Hive-Power
Well, when you can help others and grow together in crypto space, than why not use your money to do both. HIVE has made it possible. Upvote users and generate rewards from the reward pool. It gets distributed to curators and authors. Quite difficult to find any other blockchain which offers the service this way. No abuse of reward pool (like other blockchain ahm ahm ahm) pure authentic contents of genuine users. Although, in this case the APR is not constant. As it varies for different activities. But overall the APR fluctuates from 5-12% for a curator.
There are lots of other ways in HIVE ecosystem where users and investors have got some significant amount of returns even in bear market. There are people who are loosing hundreds, thousands of dollars in their portfolio but HIVE folks have been accumulating over the bear market and in the coming days they are going to take the full benefit of those moves. Crypto is indeed unpredictable. HIVE has so much to offer but it is you, who can decide what value you can provide and how you can get benefit for that ;)
I must say, HIVE has been a blessing to many of us over the last couple of years. There has been so many hurdles and even for myself, there were times where I felt like, I should quit but HIVE has kept me alive and this community has played a very vital role for my existence in crypto.
