#2 - More game tips and thoughts on season rewards!

Hi everyone once again! Firstly, I just want to express my thanks for all the support and comments for my first post!

I thought it's a good time to update on my Splinterlands journey, given that the previous season just ended yesterday.

Today is my 6th day with the game and I am glad to say I am happy with the progress that I have made, while still having lots to learn about the game. A few more tips/ideas that I have picked up along the journey to collect more DEC and SPS (read my first post for the 1st set of tips!):

  1. Rent out cards that you don't need or while you are not playing - I wasn't hopeful that there will be players wanting to rent my "average" cards like Chain Spinner or Gargoya Devil but I realised the demand was very high towards the end of the season and I collected some good DEC from this.
  2. Understand how the Airdrop points work - For those who love maths, I think this is a good way to optimise the SPS airdrops. Have copied the table below for reference and you can visit this link to understand more too.

  3. Join the Discord group and Splintertalk - While you can earn some SPT on Splintertalk, I think what is more useful is having access to the countless useful guides and strategies which players/writers have taken valuable time to organise and to share freely. For example, I have learnt from a post on how to differentiate the Edition of the cards by looking at the design/pattern/edges etc. I didn't know that before this.

Next up, season rewards! I finished in Bronze III tier and collected 5 loot chests. Pretty satisfied given that this is still my first week and I am still progressing at my own pace. So let me share what I have received!

Splinterlands seems to be the game of the moment. Unfortunately, I am not a games person. Anyway, it all sounded too complicated. 😊 Good luck.

Thanks! Yes, it is easy to play but difficult to master the game.
