#48 - Wood Nymph vs Goblin Psychic: Who Will Win?

The theme for the current "Share Your Battle" challenge is Wood Nymph. With Earth's Obsidian summoner having +1 Magic ability, I think Wood Nymph is a better Earth healer than Goblin Psychic. Let's dive into this battle and see how each of them perform!

• Team Setup: Both my opponent and myself have opted for Earth lineups. Unicorn Mustang started as my tank as I prepared for an opposing magic lineup. Regal Peryton was a must for its high speed and flying ability, followed by Wood Nymph acting as a healer for the front two attackers. Creeping Ooze remained as a core card in my opinion to ensure a higher chance of hitting first.
  
• Round 1: Both healers, opposing Goblin Psychic and my Wood Nymph, healed the tanks and it was pretty even at this point.
  
• Round 2: Both healers, opposing Goblin Psychic and my Wood Nymph, continued to heal the tanks in this round too.
  
• Round 3: Cards started to fell on both sides once our tanks were gone. Because I used Wood Nymph instead of Goblin Psychic, I had 2 additional mana to allocate for another attacker and included a tanky Regal Pertyon.
  
• Round 4: Having more attackers helped in the closing stages and this fight was almost done!
  
• Round 5: Regal Peryton started the round and victory was sealed!

Did the strategy work? Definitely yes, by picking the right lineup and having more attackers than the opponents. Magic attacks don't miss so having more magic attackers is advantageous.

What will you try differently next time? Nothing much I would change though but would love to hear suggestions!

Do you like WOOD NYMPH? Why or why not? Definitely yes, having a healer with 2 magic damage (after Summoner effect) and heal ability at 4 mana is very valuable. Compared to Goblin Psychic which cost 6 mana, I could easily squeeze in an extra attacker or small cards to boost my victory chances! (A little tip: It is not expensive to buy/rent Wood Nymph too!)
