BGN Guild - Outplayed In Brawl This Time

Completed my 10th brawl with my guild BGN and I didn't fare well this round. And it didn't help when members were inactive (again), i.e. only 34 out of 50 battles were submitted. If not for some great individual performances (we actually won 20 out of the 34 submitted battles), we would have finished worst in the rankings.

So the final result, we finished a 7th out of 10 guilds and got only 185 Merits, which was 1 position better than previous one.

Individually, I won 3 out of 8 fights and finished 5th within my guild. Probably the lowest for me so far.

Let's jump into the battles!

Battle 1 - LOSE

There was no way my team was going to get past Kitty + Almo + Gladius card in this one. Lasted 9 rounds before my team gave way.

Battle 2 - WIN

A comfortable and morale boosting win for me. It's always tricky facing Grum but my entire Water team stayed alive till the end.

Battle 3 - LOSE

This lineup has won me some battles but with Cerebus on the opposite end, the healing for 1 turn made the difference for this low mana battle.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Queen Mycelia's armour caused a lot of problems for my Fire lineup and my cards were not strong to turn around against a team with 2 Legendary cards.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Badly outplayed in this one. Was unable get through the opposing Armorsmith and my team fell flat.

Battle 6 - LOSE

Llama + Kron meant I had no chance in this one. I thought I fought well in this but just didn't have enough.

Battle 7 - WIN

Till this day it still puzzles me why so many teams do not have or do not use Brighton Bloom for Earthquake battles. Comfortable win for me in this one against a complex summoner on the opposing end.

Battle 8 - WIN

Speed made the difference in this battle as monsters lose all abilities. Djinn Chwala's tanky stats covered the backline very well.
