Earning Daily Rewards With Splinterlands

After logging in to Splinterlands and getting ready to do some daily battling I'm met with the above message. Got to love all the help the Splinterlands site and team give to everyone. They even let us know in a popup when the season is soon ending. With that being said; I got some battles to win. I been very busy with guests and some other stuff so didn't have much time for online activities over the past week or two. However I try to always find time for Splinterlands and the Hive Blockchain. I got some spare minutes at current time so its battling time and while I'm at it blog post time. First let me go get some battles done an earn some daily rewards for doing so. I'll be back to report my success or lack there of in what seems like no time at all to you but likely will be 20 minutes or more for me. I get four wins in a row rather quickly. I'm killing it. The fifth is about to go down (I lose). Here we go again (I lose again). Battle seven underway (we get the win). We go 5-2 out of seven battles. Not a bad ratio at all. Lets see our rewards.

Post intermission: A poker tournament win

This was a much needed win. MTT's (multi table tournaments) have high variance. Add in the fact my playing style is also high variance its no surprise I zonked four rolls I built from zero over a period of about a month. I was down to some tickets and 0 cash at this particular site before this win. I got three sats I won my way into to play tomorrow. Each one awards a $22 ticket. Hopefully I get the win in at least one. If so I'll be playing in a $30,000 gntd bounty tournament later that same night.

Purchasing SPL Cards

My purchase of SPL cards continues. Over the past two days I purchased five cards. Four were of the CHAOS Legion set and Epics. I managed to snag them for 0.077 cents each. The purchase made on Jan 29th was a gold foil Foundation card Level 3 that I managed to snag for just 0.021 cents. I'll continue to keep my eyes peeled for card deals. I'm slowly but surely adding to my Foundation Gold Foil collection. Sooner or later I'll likely go on a purchasing spree as I got a taste of season rewards last season and it tasted good. My tummy is rumbling as its been a busy day so its time to grab some grub. Yesterday I must of ate five bowls of homemade chicken noodle soup. Possibly even six bowls. I ate so much chicken I think I see a feather growing out my ear. I hope I don't start clucking soon that would make for some potentially furious action.

Looks like I have 20 minutes to get at least one more daily reward. I still have two to collect but that will be pushing it. Almost ten minutes in and I only got one win (yikes). With just 4 minutes and only two wins: I'm tossing in the towel. Hey, maybe I turned into a chicken after-all :) Just a little over two days to go before the next Frontier Draw. That will be followed up with building the forums on the poker forum I am building. I haven't been completely idle with the future forum. I been doing some research on modern looking forums and deciding on what visual the frontend will have. No concluding thoughts yet. Getting it built is the main priority. It can be updated to whatever visual afterwards.
