STATS OF CARD

Hunter Jarx is one of the new cards in the Chaos Legion Edition, I confess that when I saw this card I thought it would be very important in my battles and I ended up buying it.
A mistake made, because first I should have rented it to see how it behaved in battles and only then could I think about buying it if it really lived up to expectations.

Despite understanding that it is a strong card to combine in battles, it has a weak point which is its speed, which makes it miss the target many times and that is not what we want in battle, that our monsters miss the target, but can be compensated by using monsters with Slow or Swiftness skills, to change the speed of the opposing team's monsters and thus increase our success rate.

As for its attributes, in the initial level it starts with 3 attack points Range in which its skill is Snipe, in its evolution its speed does not change, but it increases its attack power, and its health points, gaining in the level 4 of its evolution new skill, which makes perfect sense, True Strike, in which with this new skill Hunter Jarx no longer misses the target, and then the card gains a new meaning of life.

I chose to share a Brawl battle because in this battle Hunter Jarx is decisive in the course of the battle with his attack.

For this battle we only had the Earth and Death Splinters available in which we could only use even Mana cards, my strategy was to use cards that could attack the enemy's front line, combining with Hunter Jarx with Snipe ability to try to reduce the team of the opponent, and Katrelba Gobson's Gladius card of Melee attack with Sneak, Double Strike and Bloodlust abilities to try to increase their attributes by eliminating the opponent's cards.

As a tank I chose Unicorn Mustang with Void ability to protect from Magic attacks, and for reinforcement to the tank I chose Grund with Double Strike ability, being a card with Melee attack, it could only attack from the front line, but in case Unicorn Mustang leaves the battle, Grund would lead the battle with the smaller opposing team and thus have a greater chance of winning the battle.

I protected the battlefield with medium health cards in the Snipe position, with Magi Of Chaos and in the Sneak position with Hunter Jarx.

As for the battle itself, the opponent complicated the battle in which he chose the Mylor Crowling Summoner with Thorns buffer, in which monsters being attacked with Melee attack monsters create damage to whoever attacked them, and due to that I lost my card Gladius Katrelba Gobson due to Thorns.

On the other hand, my Hunter Jarx card due to its Snipe ability managed to eliminate the opponent's Goblin Psychic card and thus took away the opportunity to heal his tank, making the battle much easier for my side.

My Grund card in this battle was just assistant, not having made any attacks because it didn't reach the first line of battle position, and it wasn't necessary for the rest of my team to manage to eliminate the entire opponent's team and consequent win the battle.

RESUME

In this battle Hunter Jarx did not disappoint me in that he was effective with his attack and eliminated an important card from the opponent that changed the course of the battle.

The best strategy in battles is to differentiate the types of attacks, but it's not always possible and we don't always act that way, concentrating attacks on the front line, Snipe attacks, Opportunity attacks and Sneak attacks makes the battle more unpredictable and more difficult for the opponent defend against unpredictable attacks.

In this case, if I had concentrated attacks only on the front line, maybe I wouldn't be successful in the battle, because for example I couldn't eliminate Goblin Psychic.
Choosing only Melee attack cards would also hurt me due to the opponent choosing Mylor Crowling Summoner.

I managed to win this battle, and help my Guild, more battles to come
