BATTLE CHALLENGE LAVA SPIDER

My strategy for this battle was to use monsters according to the ruleset, as with Blast we do half damage to the adjacent monster, it was important to attack first to be able to eliminate the opponent's monsters before he could attack my monsters, so the my strategy was to speed up my monsters because at the end of the round we still had Earthquake's disadvantage.
My option for this battle was GRUM due to having excellent attack and good shield and health, sinning only in speed, but having Bloodlust skill, and having a set of negative rules in the battle, there was a great possibility of GRUM applying Bloodlust skill
Also, I chose monsters with Snipe and Opportunity skills, this to be able to damage more monsters of the opponent, however the choice of Snipe monsters did not have the expected effect because the opponent had only one monster without Melee attack, that is, it only had one monster Magic attack and in the last position, so I could only apply Blast with the attack to the previous monster.

In the first round I sacrificed several monsters, but the strongest ones continued to the second round, and I also managed to make the opponent lose several monsters and in this round I had the opportunity for GRUM to apply his Bloodlust skill and so the fight was won

With this victory I increased my rank by 20 points and gained 1,417 dec

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

In this battle I risked everything with GRUM and LAVA LAUNCHER because only these two monsters spent 20 mana of the available capacity leaving little mana to complete the battle formation, however these were the monsters that survived the first round and the combat. Taking advantage of the available mana to join monsters with Snipe and Opportunity skills helped to take health points from several opponent's monsters, and finally I won the battle and can say that the strategy worked.

Depending on the ruleset, there are situations I usually use, when they are battles with little mana available, or when monsters gain Blast and having 4 health at the initial level can make a shield putting in front of other Ranged attack cards with less points of health.
