I WILL PROTECT YOU

In this battle we could only use Splinter Life and given the ruleset it was important to have some monsters with Flying ability so as not to suffer damage from Earthquake each round.
As we had a lot of mana available to build the deck for the battle, my strategy was to combine Health points with the Flying skill, in order to survive more rounds than the opponent.

So I put in the first position CHAOS KNIGHT would not suffer many attacks because it would combine with SHIELDBEARER, it would suffer with Earthquake, but having the Shield skill it would suffer reduced damage.

In the second position I chose LUMINOUS EAGLE with due Flying ability and being able to attack from the second position, I would not suffer Earthquake and cause damage to the opponent.

In the third position I chose SHIELDBEARER due to its Taunt ability, despite not being able to make attacks on the opponent, it would protect me from attacks and would be my shield for the battle.

In fourth position I chose LUNAKARI MISTRESS due to having Magic attack, in which its attack would focus on health points and not on the shield, and having 6 + 1 health points, it could attack 4 times before dying by Earhquake.

The same method in fifth position with CHAOS OF MAGIC having 5+1 health points could attack 3 times.

Finally GARGOYA DEVIL with Ranged attack and Flying and Close Range ability, to be the last monster to reach the front line without having suffered any damage.

My opponent chose similar strategy but with monsters with less health points, and chose to use TRUTHSPEAKER to protect the team with 2 armor where I could have some advantage by using 2 Magic attack cards.
Due to having chosen TIME MAGE it reduced the speed to my monsters being able to attack first in the battle, in which CHAOS KNIGHT and SHIELDBEARER attacked me in which I attack the opponent's CHAOS KNIGHT leaving 1 health point at the end of the first round, in which all monsters would take damage from Earhquake. Having the opponent's monsters armor, the monsters without Flying skill lost armor and I lost health points on the monsters that didn't have armor or Flying.

Starting the second round of the battle, I lose SHIELDBEARER and so most of the opponent's attacks would focus on my monster in the first position, in which I can eliminate the opponent's CHAOS KNIGHT and TRUTHSPEAKER leaves the battle due to Earhtquake and thus the Flying monsters that had gained the Protected advantage.

Starting the third round I lose CHAOS KNIGHT but I eliminate LUMINOUS EAGLE and TIME MAGE. PELACOR ARBALEST ends up leaving the battle due to Earhquake and so the opponent only has CELESTIAL HARPY in battle, I end up losing MAGI OF CHAOS by Earthquake but I still have 3 monsters, in numerical superiority in relation to the opponent who ended up eliminating his last card in the fourth round.

With the victory of this battle I increased my rank by 24 points and gained 0.718 Dec.

It was a balanced battle where the combination of CHAOS KNIGHT with Shield ability, SHIELDBEARER with Taunt ability, magic cards and Flying cards allowed to overcome Earthquake's negative ruleset.
