Hello everyone, this week started a new season in the game Splinterlands. I finished the last season in the silver III league and with that I started this season with 500 rating, and as some players commented, the first day of the new season is difficult to win battles, because we get strong players. I tasted this poison, I started the battles but I lost more than I managed to win, I don't know if it's from being strong players, if it's from catching bots programmed for the mana level, what I know is that a few battles later I passed 500 rating to 80.
I was incredulous, how is it possible not to be consistent at the beginning of the season if I have the same cards as I ended the season? It's frustrating to see so many losses in a row, so I stopped to analyze why I was losing, what I needed to be able to have a winning path, and with that I found that to make a difference I needed to play in order to beat the bots' programming.
So, I bought a rented summoner to be able to change the course of my defeats, and it's true that on the same day I went from 80 rating to 1012 rating, I was happy to be able to progress in the rating, and 80% of my battles I used this summoner, all battles that had more than 25 mana, I didn't think twice and immediately went with the summoner.

So, my post is about the summoner DELWYN DRAGONSCALE, I comment on one of the battles I won and at the end of the post I leave a small youtube video with more battles with this summoner, the essence of my battle composition is always the same, just changing only opponents.

Delwyn Dragonscale is a summoner of the Promo edition and the Dragon splinter, its attributes are to give +1 magic attack to all monsters on the team. Sin for spending 5 mana and at level 1 not being able to use legendary cards.
I rented the card at level 2 to be able to use Djinn Oshannus which is a legendary card

Delwyn Dragonscale summoner +1 Magic attack, as I have some strong Water Magic cards, I chose this summoner, it has the same abilities as Alric, the difference is that Alric's rental is much more expensive, and Alric can only be used with Water splinter , while Delwyn Dragonscale is from splinter Dragon along with any type of splinter

In the first position I chose Kelp Initiate despite not having attack, with 2 mana it is a good card with 5 health, and as the rules have Target Practice, it will only be hit by Melee attacks

Djinn Oshannus is supposed to be the monster that will suffer the most attacks, so as it has Void ability it has good protection and the card itself has good health and good speed, +2 Magic attack and +1 additional from the summoner, eliminates opponents with ease

In third position I used Venari Wavesmith, as my monsters don't have a Shield, I chose Venari to protect all monsters especially my tank to last as long as possible in battle

Coral Wraith in fourth position, being protected from attacks by the rules of battle, spending 4 mana and having +2 Magic and +1 additional from the summoner, is to break all the dishes

Scavo Hireling from the Repair skill, as I chose Venari to Shield the monsters, Scavo will repair the armor that takes the most damage, with this trying to keep my tank alive from Melee attacks

And finally Ice Pixie, with Magic attack and good speed, with 2 mana to complete my team.

Round 1

My opponent chose the Summoner Byzantine Kitty in which the monsters became super fast, being one of the first to attack, but on the other hand my monsters got super Magic attacks, and regardless of speed their attacks do not fail.

Round 2

My team survived the first round with little damage, on the other hand my opponent lost his best monster, Phantom of the Abyss, right in the first round, my team is very strong and doesn't give any chance to survive the opponent

Did your strategy work? What are you going to try differently next time?

The combination of Magic cards is very aggressive, it wins most battles, it's not by chance that I used this combination 80% of my battles on the first day of the season, and I went from rating 80 to 1012. In this battle my opponent didn't have any chance to win the battle, despite having increased the speed of the cards, my monsters had strong attacks and were shielded.
This is a very strong combination of cards, but it has its cons, if the opponent uses monsters with Void and Silence abilities, Magic attacks are useless, so it is always important to choose a mix of attacks to be protected against the negative effects of opponent's skills

Do you like splinter Dragon? Why or why not?

Among summoners and cards there are several types of Splinter Dragon cards, which are very useful in battles because the Splinter Dragon can combine with another Splinter and is an asset to choose the formation for the battle.
In this battle case I chose the Water Dragon summoner because it has more strong Water splinter spell cards, but it is a good card to combine with any type of splinter. As it spends 5 mana, it shouldn't be used in low-mana battles because we have little free mana to choose cards, but from 25 mana on, you can form good sets of cards for battle.
