Back to Buying Chaos Cards...!
One can never be certain which Splinterlands assets to focus on - I knew I had to buy at least one node license, in fact I ended up buying two.
And I know I want A LOT of SPS.. 310k and counting, and hopefully 400K by the end of the DEC to SPS airdrop... I think that will be crucial, and it's a TASTY option given the 50% yield.
But I'm quite happy now with my capacity to just go on accumulating SPS - the nodes give me a nice passive income in the future....
And so for now I'm thinking the best thing I can spend my daily DEC on is CHAOS cards.
More precisely gold epic Chaos cards...
Here's my current wish list - the next bunch of what I want to max out a further four Gold Epics...
- 5 Dax
- 3 Jarx
- 8 Insidious Warlock
- 10 Acid Shooters
Ny theory behind these is that for land staking - these give a decent amount of CP for a reasonable price!
They rent OK too...!
An average of 30% - which is OK - but this is really about potential future value for land staking.
At the end of the day I don't think you can go far wrong with the cards, investing in them, that is: they are the root of the game, after all!

I’ve definitely got things I need to do on the buying front but I’m waiting for the airdrop to finish before I do that lol that way I maximize my DEC bonus for it. Granted I have nowhere near as much DEC as you do and income but still got a nice 40k.

I spent most of the last year doing the same, but now it's so late in the day I think it makes more sense to buy cards - the return on the drop is around the same as rental, if you factor in that we're only getting another 10% of drop time in!

I think I was focusing on gold reward cards for price appreciation and they were easy to rent. I will rethink these epic hold cards now.

I think LAND is going to be about CP so gold epics make sense! The legendaries are just so expensive one can't buy too many of them!
