The Simple Economics of Doing the Splinterlands Challenge of the Week...!

I've been doing the Splinterlands Challenge of the Week now, nearly every week, for it must be two whole years.

It's a simple initiative in which you play a few games using a certain card (or sometimes any cards from a certain Splinter) and then write a post and share, and if you comment on the weekly challenge from the main @splinterlands account you get an upvote from that account, which massively hive-powered....

My latest post received a Vote worth over $5, so that's $2.50 for me just for playing a game and writing about it and sharing it - on top of all the other Votes I get, but $2.50 is a pretty good almost guaranteed starting point!

It even makes it renting out a few cards if necessary to make for a better challenge!

And you are helping publicise the game at the same time, which really does make this a win-win!

NB there are some quite specific criteria for taking part, so be sure to check the details in the weekly challenge posts!

I've not been able to play Splinterlands for a while now. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few cards I do not know about now. Taking part in the weekly challenge could perhaps give me a nudge. :D It could be pretty rewarding too, as you have said.

I have been consistently doing the challenges for 2 years now and its definitely helped to grow my account as well as stay on top of all the new cards!
