Happy October Hive Power Up Day!
I just Powered Up 50 More Hive in block 78, 881, 380 in honour of October's Hive Power Up Day.
Not the biggest power up I know but that takes me to 97300 HP which means I now only need another 900 HP a month to reach that 100K goal by the end of 2023, which means I am well ahead of schedule, might even make it a couple of weeks early.
Only a few months ago I think I was targeting 1300HP a month the hit that goal, obvs I have exceeded that without even too much effort!
Hive accumulation in September
Well I managed to add 1400 HP last month, up from 95900 to 97300 currently, which I'm VERY pleased with!
Writing on Hive in September....
I'm quite please that I've got back into writing more about economics, which is something I wanted to do, so tick there, and besides that it's mainly been splinterlands, running and the good old allotment posts, I quite like this balance, so I think I'll continue.
I'll try and focus a bit more on side hustles too this coming October, seeing as I could use a little more cash! And probably jobs prospects, as I do fancy job, no rush!
Stagnating Splinterlands
The bad news on Hive, but maybe good in the long term, was Splinterlands laying off some staff and Aggy I think leaving for his Football game.
It's sad to see Aggy go, I mean SL was his idea after all, but I think consolidating and getting rid of all the pointless side projects is a good move.
I just hope they get Land out soon, but it'll be lat October by the sounds of it, so I personally won't be visiting the Discord for a couple of weeks, it's a bit salty over there RN.
GLS is doomed to fail IMO, they can't even name it right: it's FOOTBALL, the White paper refers to something called Soccer which automatically undermines any credibility it has.
Hive in late 2023 final thoughts...
I dropped in on the Hive Fest livestreams, some of them, was a bit same old from last year but good to see things still going strong and some new faces and developments taking place.
Maybe I'll make it in 2024, I've heard Croatia bandied about as a possible destination which would be a huge draw.

HPUD is one of the most important event on HIVE. Adding 1400 HP in a month is just great, I hope I will in the future as well!

I like hearing your opinions on economics issues.
I've not got around to watching Hivefest videos. I will try to skim through some soon to see what was new. It looks like it was a smaller event this time. Maybe Mexico was just too far for even those in the US to go.

You're really close to 100K, man. And since you have so much HP, you can probably get there with your monthly curation income even if you don't post at all. That's awesome.

Not quite there with tbe curation yet - only around 500 a month even now!
