Powered up 100 Hive for Hive Power Up Day....
The Crypto markets may well be a bit limp ATM but I still have a good feeling about Hive, so I've just Powered Up another 100 in honour of Hive Power Up Day May 2022.
I just feel that rather than keeping more Hive liquid to pool with DEC that now is the time to get it powered up to, well, earn more Hive....
I don't really want to sell my Liquid Hive for anything else either ATM so I may as well leave it Powered up.
There's a few things going on around the ecosystem that have encouraged me to Power Up...
The HBD interest rate going up to 20%
At least in the short to medium term I think this is a good idea to encourage people to buy HBD and lock it up for 3 days in savings, or 30 days in the pHBD-USDC pool on polycub - more external buying pressure for HBD should push up the Hive price.
However in the long term I'm more cautious, this does need something like a Hive-Bond for a higher-rate of return maybe going forwards, otherwise we're just stacking up stables to be dumped further down the line, which means a declining Hive price.
Still for now, 20% is good.
Splinterlands
Everything may well be delayed where land is concerned (don't hold your breath for the end of 2022!) and we're in a bit of a lull at the moment, but this just means it's accumulation time - when land kicks off I think it's going to be happy-times for SL and Hive holders alike!
There'a a market for claimed accounts now...
I've got over 1000 of these, and OK, you need to be able to run a bot or something complex like that to be able to sell your accounts, but the very fact that there's SOMETHING like this is an encouragement of power up more Hive, as you need at least 5000 Hive to be able to claim one account, it might actually be more than that!
RC delegations are coming next HardFork..
THey've been good to go since January, though I've no idea when the next HF is (it's about time for one, surely?!?) it will be another revenue stream, and I've got a fair amount of RCs available to delegate!
PolyCub and pHive
While the price of PolyCub has dumped considerably over the last two months, its still all free money and this initiative is progressing... and pHive is coming soon (and pSPS) creating more options for making money out of Hive - I mean let's face it there are no other liquidity pools besides those on Hive Engine!

ONEUP
Talking about Liquidity Pools the ONEUP-SWAP.HIVE and ONEUP-PIZZA pools are two of my favourites on Hive and offer a great return, and ONEUP is a great initiative more generally, along with CARTEL.
Airdrops... there could be more!
We've had Ragnorak this year and 3Speak kick off too - there's no reason why we won't see more airdrops going forwards either, both dependent on Hive Power!

In conclusion I'm happy to be back to Powering Up Hive again, I can't think of any coin I'd rather pile into a bit more for the rest of 2022!

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
I've heard the guys on the Cryptomaniacs podcast saying that 20% on HBD is nice, but potentially HIVE could go up a lot more than that. It's the usual thing of safe investment vs a riskier bet that will pay more. I don't see it as that bad as I can earn a reasonable amount on HP anyway. My power up was smaller just because I needed funds for other things right now. I'm adding to my HP every day anyway.

That being said I'm actully more bullish on Hive right now long term than HBD.
Yeah it's a good time to buy I think, price feels quite low!
It's great to see all these things happening, so many, sometimes it's hard to keep up!
It's certainly become a more diverse ecosystem!

I'm not sure what the price is TBH! I can't even remembered what I bought them for, but I quite like the idea of it, slow burn, gradual dividend pay outs.
I didn't realize that there was going to be a market for claimed accounts. I know there were people claiming them but I still don't have enough RCs to claim those accounts and it's nice to see RC delegations come out in the next hardfork.
