I know what you mean, they do pander too much to the investors and there's not a lot to the game.

I find the investing/ collection aspect much more enjoyable than the game play.

It must be a crap experience lower down the leagues in terms of rewards, I mean the rewards are crap enough in Champions 1 still.

And I know exactly what you mean about buying wins - oh it's someone with a maxed Yodin (which I don't have) they fucking win, like fucking YAWWWWWWNNNNN.

Oh so you bought your win (well done boy for buying your win, pats head).

Occasionally you do get a decent match, but my experience so far this season has been 60% I win because I've got better cards, 20% I lose because someone's got better cards, and then 20% I either win or lose based on a decent matched deck.

It remains a problem.

However, I'm still investing in the game as there is something about the psychology of it that I think is going to keep people buying in. More a matter of faith than anything else! i like the lore/ art too.

You must have either sold a lot cards or been very unlucky to have bought thousands of packs and not have sufficient power to get into Champions?

Even at $1 pack if you spent $3K that should give you leg up, that's less than I've invested and I've got over a million power.
