There are some FANTASTIC yields available within the HIVE Ecosystem

I've just been reviewing the relative yields available within and around the Hive Ecosystem.

The main Vesting and opportunities I'm personally a fanboy of include:

  1. ZING
  2. Splinterlands
  3. Hive curation and HBDs!!!
  4. LEO options
  5. Hive-Engine pools (some of)

Approximate yields, ranked by return...

NB I reduced some of the yields below as they are OBVIOUSLY going to go down!

Screenshot 2024-01-03 at 15.28.34.png

The various ZING options come out at number one. The ZING HIVE pool is the best, currently with a return of over 200% (reduced to 100% above), ZING stake is currently over 40% (Reduced to 30% above) and if you delegate HP to the @holozing account you get a 30% return, reduced to 25% above.

These returns won't last, we are currently in full FOMO mode I believe with this game, which is still in pre-release, but for now it's the BEST return on HIVE, and a real advert for holding HIVE POWER!

Splinterlands options are next.. with LAND set to SPS and the pools giving a decent 30% return, the only problem here is if yer into land you are looking at a relatively large Vest required - you need land, plus DEC, plus cards.

Interestingly the SPS returns and card returns alone are only yielding at around 12%, but BOOSTED with DEC and LAND, that trebles.

I guess this shows the value of LAND!

Again, LAND is really in pre-release mode, it's very early days.

HBD and Hive curation are mainstays, the backbone of the entire Hive ecosystem. If you add the HIVE curation plus the 3% curation you get a return of 10-11% which is awesome for a main-coin.

With HBDs I've lowered the APR to 15% given that this has to come down sometime soon, this remains one of the most appealing aspects of HIVE IMO.

Some of the Hive-Engine pools come next on my fave list - with the HIVE-BXT pool being something I am planning on going into a little harder, and the HIVE-MATIC pool too, big fan of that one! 18% and 8% yields respectively.

Finally we have LEO delegation, a 14% return or something like that and then LEO curation at 5%, not the best but I'm keeping the faith!

Personal Vesting strategies for 2024...

I think I've got a decent stack of both Hive and HBDs and SL assets.

For me 2024 on Hive is going to be all about stacking more of the following:

  1. Assets in the SL pools, I think these offer some FANTASTIC returns!
  2. ZING stacking, I'm gonna keep my delegation relatively high.
  3. Stacking more in the HE pools, mainly the HIVE-BXT pool and the Hive-Matic pool...

I like the zing game and I am hoping after the launch we will see the token moon! (or at least do a 5x 🙂). For now, I am just buying and earning zing via delegations.

Zing looks good but like any liquidity pool it will come down, been in there since 600% I think. Great advert for Hive.

It's a fun game, but yes downward trend is the rule, happy the price has remained pretty resilient!

So many options. I especially like Zing.
It’s going to be a lot of fun.
I especially love the Artwork.

Zing is booming indeed! I first was just delegating and reinvesting the payout from the pool. I now also started unstaking some of the delegation returns to dump into the pool. All of course on 1/100th the scale at which you are working at :D

The general rule with these things is sell hard early on and then ease off!

I've not got into ZING or some of these other things, but I'm happy enough with the passive income I get. My focus is on using my HP to distribute rewards. I do okay from the curation, but I hope to encourage some people to stay active.

It will be interesting to see what this year brings. More games could help Hive. Ragnarok has gone quiet though.

Stacking Hive should be a core aim of everyone!

No idea what's going on with Ragnorak, maybe something will happen in 2024...?

I think projects need to talk about what they are doing to keep enthusiasm up. I'll keep on stacking.

Many of them have very little communication that is for sure. Going dead for a year is poor form!

Congrats on your yields. I also picked up a few from your list though when it comes to HE tokens, I have a different preference.

Yep, like you said, this shows the power of having HP. When you can delegate out and make even more than from curation, it's kind of a no-brainer. I really need to delegate to Zing to get some of that pie before the FOMO ends. I don't need another game to play, but just to flip it on the market and make a few bucks.

These are good investments, man, and I'm excited about the Holozing project. Right now I've reduced the delegation a bit and instead I'm more actively earning Zing in the liquidity pool.

Lemme just drop my question in here about delegating to @holozing : I delegated HP via my wallet using PeakD, so how come my delegation is not recognized in the Holozing game?

Not that I mind undelegating on in my wallet, and redelegating in the game, but this seems so unlike anything I have known on the blockchain. Is the holozing account not the same holozing account?
