Being a new player in Splinterlands might be difficult at first because you need to be familiar with the mechanics of the game. Therefore, when I first played the game I burned almost 70% of my ECR and cannot even go to bronze 2 it was all because of the hype that I just played without further research. Doing research gives me insights on how to play the game right and thanks to many tutorial videos on youtube I learned a lot about this game.

Now let me share with you my build to get from novice to Silver II /Silver I in just 1-2hrs.

WHAT TO RENT: renting values are based on the ingame market as of september 18, 2021

SUMMONER

YODIN ZAKU @180 DEC/day
this summoner can give your range monsters +1 damage, +1 health to all monsters, and also blast ability. Blast ability makes the damage dealt with an enemy monster bounce half of the damage to its allies next to it.

SUMMONS:
NOTE* I use gold foils because it gives an additional 10% DEC income if it is used in the battle

ANT MINERS @0.82 DEC/day
this monster has a scavenger ability which gives him +1 hp every time a monster dies in the battle on both sides. this makes him a good tank in low mana battles

GOBLIN FIREBALLER @0.87 DEC/day
this monster has an additional 1 speed and 1 hp if it is in LVL 3

FLAME MONKEY @0.94 DEC/day
I always partner this with ant miner if the battle is low mana

ETTIN SPEARMAN @1 DEC/day
this monster has the piercing ability (when the opponents' armor is 1 and got attacked by it with his 3 damage the remaining 2 damage will penetrate to the opponents' health) also he has high damage and high health which makes it a good backline tank

FIRE BETTLE 12.95 DEC/day
This monster has snipe ability which makes gives it the ability to attack the monster that is not in the first position also when LVL 3 it has additional damage and health.

FEREXIA GENERAL @1.2 DEC/day
This monster has snipe ability which makes gives it the ability to attack the monster that is not in the first position

NEUTRAL SPLINTERS:

HALFLING ALCHEMIST @12.5 DEC/day
this monster halves the attack of the opposing team tank which makes your tank survives longer.

FURIOUS CHICKEN @8.9 DEC/day
with Its zero mana, it also has 1 melee damage and is best to put in the first position to take the first attack of the opponents' team. only put this if you have 1 empty slot.

CREEPING OOZE @1.6 DEC/day

LINE UPS

FOR THE 22 MANA CAP JUST REPLACE THE CHICKEN WITH OOZE AND THEN PUT IT ON THE 2ND POSTION

When renting the summoner ( Yodin Zaku) sometimes there are players that rent it below 100 DEC or below 180 DEC so if you want to save some DEC you need to snipe for it.

When playing ranked battle you just need to get ratings on the bronze league.
while you are in bronze you just need to get those ratings and then after you achieved the rating that you want. For example, you had a 1600 rating on bronze which is silver 1 if you have power. What you need to do after that is you need rent for the corresponding power that is needed for that rating to get to silver 1 (70k power)
