Instant Messenger or Notification for communicating with, or notifying guild members

Sometimes there comes a time when I want to alert guild members that the brawl is ending soon and they should hurry and pick their teams. Unfortunately, the only method of communication is a chat box that doesn't alert the member. They may be online, but they may not be able to see the chat inside the guild. Two remedies for this are either having an instant messenger function, or to use a @ tag followed by the members user name in the chat that could pop up a notification throughout in the web page's header, letting the user know to check the guild chat box. Hopefully we can have a proposal for this soon.
