TIME TO EXPLORE SPLINTERVERSE ONCE AGAIN!

For this week, the feature card in Splinterlands' SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! is DJINN APPRENTICE. This monster is very interesting because it uses magic attack and no ability. How will this monster survive the battle? That is the question that we will answer today in order to guide for this week's battle challenge.

I can feel your excitement! With that, I am not going to prolong it, lets start the feature!

THE LORE

Djinn Apprentices prefer to study under more powerful djinn to hone their magic. While not as strong or cunning as others of their kin, they are just as dangerous to untrained warriors.

When the Chaos Legion arrived, it had a diverse effect on the djinn. Not a unified race by any means, some chose to align with the Chaos Legion, some chose to defend against it, and others chose to go their own path and leave it all behind. Djinn Apprentices chose to align themselves with Djinn Inferni, believing in his mission and his vision.

The Djinn Apprentices kneeled before the powerful form of Djinn Inferni. The heat of the volcano was immense, but it did not affect these beings of fire and magic.

Djinn Inferni looked across the row. “Djinn Muriat has betrayed our kind. He has aligned himself with the foul Chaos Legion. He has corrupted the name 'djinn' and all it stands for. We will no longer sit in silence as his darkness spreads. It will take all of us to face him. Will you join me?”

“We will!” the Djinn Apprentices exclaimed as one.

THE POWER OF DJINN APPRENTICE

DJIN APPRENTICE is a Rare Fire Monster with no ability at Level 1. It has 2 magic attacks, 2 speed, and 4 lives. The two magic attacks are very helpful because it is a direct attack. You do not have to worry on monsters who have shield abilities because he damage dealt by this monster will not reduce into halves. The ability that you should watch out for this monster is the Void ability. It has the same power as the shield ability but it is only effective to magic attackers. The two speed of this monster is not really reliable in the battle because it only means that Djinn Apprentice has only 10% chance of evading attacks, which is pretty low. In terms of lives, we can say that it is in "okay" state. Not that good and not bad as well. It can surely make it at least two rounds. Another downside of this monster is its mana. Djinn Apprentice needs 5 mana in order to be summoned in the field. That can cause mana limitations on picking other monsters

But even though this monster started with no ability, as it grow through times, it gains an ability. At LEVEL 8 this monster gains DEATHBLOW ability.

Monsters with this kind of ability gets two times damage if their target monster is the only monster left on the enemy's. That is such a powerful ability because there are times that you can almost win a battle, but due to the attack arrangement, a players loses on that round. Making the damage double at that critical situation can help you win the game.
