DEC can also be use outside the game and convert it to real money. As of today, the value of 1 DEC is $0.003080 and it continuously going down. With that, getting a lot of DEC everyday is the priority of most of the players so that they can get back all the money they invested in this game. We know how to spend it, but do we all know how get it and elevate the number of DEC we get?

HOW TO OBTAIN DARK ENERGY CRYSTALS ?

As stated earlier, DEC can be use in various ways. If it can be use in various ways, then it can also be obtain in numerous ways and these are the following:

• RANK BATTLES

The most common way of obtaining Dark Energy Crystals or DEC is by winning Rank Battles in Bronze II and above. Everytime a player wins on the battle, he or she obtains DEC. Energy Capture Rate or ECR has major influence on how big or small the DEC that a player will get on every win. Everytime a player enters rank battle, ECR degenerates, but it will regenerate over time (if the player is not playing rank battles). If ever your ECR goes to 50%, then you will only get 50% of the DEC you get when your ECR is on 100%.

Aside from ECR, the Guild, Card Packs and Gold Cards, and Winning Rate can also influence the increase of DEC on every win. Their contribution is only minimal but importantly, it still helps to increase the DEC.

• TOURNAMENTS

In Splinterlands, rank battle is not the only way of earning DEC. Aside from rank battles, there are also tournaments offered everyday. These tournaments were also created by other players. Most of the time, streamers are the one who creates tournaments in Splinterlands. There are registration fee on every tournaments and there are also qualifications needed to meet befere entering a tournament. Every tournaments here have prices. Sometimes, they give DEC, SPS, Card Packs, and other cryptocurrency as prices to number of people. Yes, you read it right. They do not just reward the person who wins the tournament, but they also reward, sometimes up to top 69 players. Some of the organizers of tournaments give higher rewards to 69th player than to rank 69th above players.

• SELLING AND RENTING

In Splinterlands, every players can sell their cards and rent to other players their owned cards. This is the way of other players to gain DEC in the game. The price of each cards depends on the player. Most of the players want to rent cards than selling it due to the fact that they can have a potential income day by day, by just doing it. There are also players who prefer to buy cards instead of buying card packs. In this case, selling cards will be a great way to target that market.

• REWARD CHESTS

Reward Chests can be obtain by doing Daily Quests and it can also be obtain in the end of the season, which is called Season Rewards. In Daily Quests, there are only specific number of chest that a player can get, depending on its rank.

To know the number of chests you can obatin, just visit Splinterlands and click "Leagues". Then click the rank you want to know the number of chests they receive. In daily quests, you can use quest potions to increase the number of chests that you will get.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR DARK ENERGY CRYSTALS ?

Now that we are reminded on how to get DEC, let us now discuss on how to increase your DEC in the game. Here are some tips that can help all of you.

• IN RANK BATTLES, DO NOT LET YOUR ENERGY CAPTURE RATE (ECR) GO BELOW 50%.

As I mentioned earlier, when your ECR goes below 50%, then you will only get half of the DEC yu get in 100%. That is a big loss and a waste of time if ever you continue battling at 50% below ECR. My suggestion to avoid this scenario is to stop playing everytime you reach 60%. Observe how ECR drops everytime you play. It decreases only some decimals. With that, 40% will be enough to gain your profit for a day. Focus on quality not quantity. It is better to enter few battles with numerous wins than entering numerous battles with lots of loses. Take rest or you can use your time to study your previous battles and line ups in order to know what goes wrong.

• JOIN GUILDS, BUY CARD PACKS (Alpha and Beta), BUY GOLD CARDS, AND MAINTAIN YOUR WINNING STREAK.

  These three things can help your DEC grow. Guilds have different way on affecting your DEC rewards in every winning battle. I guess it depends on the level of your buildings in your guild.

  The card packs and gold cards has also different impact on your DEC rewards in every winning battles. It depends on the number of Alpha, Promo, and Gold cards you use on that successful battle. There is only designated percentage for this.

  On all of the mentioned above, winning streak is the least expensive. Of course, you do not need to use any DEC or Credits to have a winning streak. You just need to win at least three battles consecutively and an additional 5% will be added to your DEC reward. The 5% can be increased if the three consecutive wins are followed by another win and another.

• IN TOURNAMENTS, TARGET A RANK THAT GIVES THE MOST DEC.

In the tournaments the winner is not the only one that gets the highest reward. Organizers are also giving highest reward on their specified rank. Commonly, they give it to rank 69th. It only means that, you do not need to win to get higher reward in tournament. You just need to strategize your game to land on your target rank.

• IN SELLING AND RENTING, CHECK EVERYDAY THE LOWEST SELLING PRICE AND RENTING PRICE OF CARDS YOU PLACE IN THE MARKET, ESPECIALLY DURING A DAY OR TWO BEFORE SEASON ENDS.

  The selling and renting price changes almost everyday. There are moments where the prices are too low and there moments where the prices are too high. Everytime the season ends, lots of players wants to increase their collection power to elevate their rank because there are greater rewards if you are in the higher ranks. With that, most of the players become impulsive on buying, especially on renting a card. By adjusting the price everytime, base on the lowest price in the market, and by just being aware when the season will end, your DEC profit each day will increase. To make sure that you will profit in selling and renting, just lower your price a bit to the lowest or suggested price in the market.

But there are techniques that we can use to upgrade our daily DEC profit and this is by not letting our ECR go below 50%, joining guilds, buying card packs and gold cards, targetting a specific rank in each tournament, and strategizing our selling and renting techniques. All of these can possibly help on getting higher DEC profit if executed properly.
