Hello, Splinterlands Community !

Today, we are going to talk about the one of the most dangerous unit in Splinterlands: the Earth Unit. Earth Unit is the home of poison ability and most of the monsters here are made with magic ability. But for today, this Epic Monster is different.

📰 THE LORE 📰

"Acid Shooters work alongside the Scavo to design new defense weaponry. They wield great metal crossbows with cannisters of acid attached to them. The crossbow can fire the entire bottle at targets or spray a burst of acid. Each shot that hits its target is capable of corroding the thickest armor. Contact with skin is dangerous and extremely painful.

“I would recommend holding it away from any vital body parts.” Said Lathandi, master tinkerer of weapons and armors.

“All of my body parts are vital!” responded Skye, as she lowered the metal crossbow she was holding. The Scavo just smiled as they took the crossbow from Skye's arms. “Now, attach the canister of acid like so, and the weapon is armed.”

Placing a small glass vial full of green bubbling liquid on top of the crossbow, Lathandi pointed the weapon at a single target 120 feet away. Looking down the sights, they held their breath, focused, and pressed the trigger. A stream of acid burst from the crossbow, spraying the target and the wall behind it.

The kickback knocked Lathandi onto their back and they rolled onto their butt. Skye screamed and jumped behind a nearby desk. Both locked eyes with each other before looking at the target. All that remained was the left leg of the dummy. The wall behind it had a large hole in it with smaller ones around it.

Lathandi's voice filled the silence. “We'll need to adjust it a bit more before it's ready for battle.”

📰 THE ABILITY OF THE CARD 📰

NAME	ABILITY	STATS
ACID SHOOTER	SCATTERSHOT	1 RANGED ATTACK, 3 SPEED, AND 3 LIVES

ACID SHOOTER is an Epic Earth Monster with Scattershot ability. Monsters with this kind of ability hits random enemy target. This is a powerful ability but has the potential to be not so useful at the same time. It can be not so useful at some time because it can possibly hit the monster with the highest defense or monster with shield ability and that can make the battle not in your favor. In contrast with this, the ability of this monster has also the potential to be an asset in the game because it can potentially hit the monster with low life but strong damage ability.

Also, this monster has 1 range attack, 3 speed, and 3 lives. With that, we can say that at level 1, this monster is not that strong in terms of creating damage in the field. In terms of health, this monster cannot also stay long enough in the field but due to its high speed, it is somehow increased. Overall, in the first level of this monster, this monster is not that strong.

As this monster continue to level up, it gains new ability. At level 4 this monster gains new ability called Cripple. Monster with cripple ability loses one max health every time that monster attacks. At this level, it receives an increase in offense and defense. In order to achieve this level, combination of 20 cards must be done.

When this monster reaches its peak level, the level 6, it gains new ability again called Poison. Monster with poison ability can give poison to the enemy, which will cause deductions in life of the poisoned monster for every round. At this level, an increase in the health of the monster was made, making this monster last longer in the field.
