Are you ready for the arrival of the new Splinterlands collection, Rebellion? A lot of things will change when Rebellion arrives, one of them is that Untamed will no longer be part of the collections that are part of Modern. Furthermore, cards that are cheap today may increase in price, especially the remaining collection, Chaos Legion and Rift Watchers.

What I decided to do was to clean up my cards, improve cards that I already use and acquire new incredible cards that I always wanted. But what are you doing for the arrival of the Rebellions? NFT Gaming Landscape

In a post I made recently I commented on the interest of the global retail giant, Amazon, in NFT games. It recently partnered with web3 games like WAX's Brawlers and Mojoo Melee, a TFT-style strategy game.

This, in my opinion, shows that the big problem with NFT games, which was the entry of a large audience of Web2 players, is no longer a problem. When a game like this enters Prime Gaming, it has contact with Amazon's entire player base. And what is the result of this? He starts playing, realizes that he now owns the items he has in the game, realizes that he earns something when he plays and that his time is paid.

And which game was one of the pioneers in NFTs, which continued to develop even during the crises, and which is about to receive a major update in terms of mechanics, which is precisely where Web2 players demand the most. Do you have a game in mind? Well, what I had in mind was Splinterlands, which already has a large and friendly community with new users and which has recently been working to remove bots from the game, paving the way for real users.

But what will happen when many users discover that they can earn by playing? That their time is now not wasted and that they own their items to do as they see fit? What I think will happen is the following, as there are no infinite cards, they all have a supply, the demand for the cards will rise a lot, so their price will skyrocket in a sinister way. Still, to be able to rent a normal Deck it will cost a lot of DEC.

With that in mind, I want to be prepared, updating my deck with new cards from the Chaos Legion and then just choosing the best ones from Rebellion and increasing the Lineups.

Crypto Landscape

In addition to the events involving NFT games, we have the great engine of cryptos, bitcoin rising with ETF rumors and the arrival of Halving.

The 2021 year of NFT games started exactly like this too, with a big rise in Bitcoin, which leads me to believe that this scenario could repeat itself, but without big games paying loads of money.

In my opinion, this new crypto bull will benefit big NFT games like Splinterlands, Sandbox, Gala Games. The games that continued to build and are ready for the arrival of new players, something that was previously unexpected, are now prepared, they already know their mistakes and experienced crypto players also know how to identify Scams.

Thus, the biggest beneficiary of this movement that seems to be getting closer and closer are the players who have been preparing and are already in the projects. For these reasons, I think now is the time to prepare and be patient.

Rebellion Changes and How to Prepare?

After we talk about the scenario, you might be asking yourself: "Okay, the crpyto market is rising, it looks like games are making good partnerships, and yes I agree that splinterlands is a game that can benefit, but How am I going to prepare for this?"

I also asked myself this question, and the conclusion I came to was the following. What we know for sure today is which cards are good to use, so there's nothing better than improving the cards I have and buying good cards that I don't yet have. And the collection that I think is the best for this is chaos, because we are already used to using it during matches.

Now if you, like me, don't have the money to upgrade your deck, what I did was get rid of the Wild cards and just focus on Modern. But there's a catch, Untamed also goes to Wild with the arrival of Rebellion. So, I got rid of my Wild and Untamed cards to improve my Deck.

Another reason that made me get rid of the Wild, Untamed and 1bcx cards is that they weren't being rented, there was no point in keeping them if I wasn't using them and I wasn't renting them anymore. Still, every time I logged into Peakmonster I saw the price of cards drop, always dropping. So I changed my strategy, I want a deck to play and it doesn't matter what the price of the cards will be in X amount of time. Because I can use the cards beyond the game, I can use them to generate content for Hive.

And there's one last reason to sell these cards, BOTS! Cards that are no longer in Modern end up becoming BOT cards, as the game removed the bots from Modern, but still leaves them loose in the Wild. For all these reasons, I believe I made the right decision.

How did I choose the cards?

An incredible feature that motivated me to upgrade my deck was that Peakmonster created a tab where players can create pre-built decks to buy or rent.

I went to My Decks, All Decks and filtered by PRO. There I found the Starter decks recommended by Bulldog1205, one of the biggest spinterlands YouTubers who makes incredible tutorials. I looked at each of the elements and saw which cards I had, which I didn't have and which I could improve.

The most complete bronze decks I have are the fire and earth decks, because in both I have the strongest cards in the game, the 0-cost Fiends. Not to mention that I bought Queen Mycelia for the earth deck.

When I was buying the Fiend and Mycelia noticed something very interesting. They were at their lowest prices in the last 6 months, and what's the best time to buy other than when they're low, right? I got Mycelia for $3.86, while Fungus Fiend I got for $1.32, although it has already gone up recently.

During shopping I noticed another incredible detail that shows the great moment we are in. When I was looking for some lvl 3 common monsters, the common version and the gold version were the same price, or the gold version was just a little more expensive. One example is Scavo Hireling, a neutral card that is very useful against melees and that regenerates monsters' shields. A common lvl 3 copy costs 0.15x14 = $2.1. The gold version is $1.69. That doesn't make sense, right? How is the card in its gold version cheaper than in the common version? That's why once again I say, we have a unique opportunity for those who believe in the game.

Look at what an incredible scenario, cards with minimal stories and gold cards cheaper than common cards. Is there any way to be better? Only if BTC rose to $35k. Oh, wait, it's $35k lol.

Next step

There are still a few cards that I have my eye on adding once I sell the rest of my old cards. I plan on picking up some RiftWatchers once they drop in price a bit. Some of the Chaos that I still want to have are: Grum Flameblade, the other Fiends, Baakjira and Jared

As soon as the Rebellion cards become available, I'll wait to lower the prices a little and see which ones best match the chaos cards I have. Instead of having rebellion and completing it with chaos I'm going to do the opposite, I prepared the Chaos deck and as soon as Rebellion arrives I'll fill in what's missing.

Finally, the last objective is to pass the stage. The deck is currently a max lvl bronze deck, with some cards missing, over time, I want to improve one element, probably fire, to reach silver with it. And of course, then improve my Earth performance.

Cenário dos Jogos NFTs

Em um post que eu fiz recentemente eu comentei sobre o interesse da gigante do varejo global, amazon, nos jogos NFTs. Recentemente ela fez parceria com jogos web3 como o Brawlers da WAX e com o Mojoo Melee, um jogo de estratégia estilo TFT.

Isso na minha opinião mostra que o grande problema dos jogos NFTs que era a entrada do grande público dos jogadores da Web2 está deixando de ser um problema. Quando um jogo desses entra no Prime Gaming, ele tem contato com toda a base de jogadores da Amazon. E qual o resultado disso? Ele começa a jogar, percebe que agora ele é dono dos itens que ele tem dentro do jogo, percebe que ganha algo quando joga e que seu tempo é remunerado.

E qual jogo que foi um dos pioneiros nos NFTs, que continuou desenvolvendo mesmo durante as crises, e que está prestes a receber um grande atualização em relação à mecânica que é justamente onde os jogadores Web2 mais cobram. Tem algum jogo em mente? Bom o que meio em mente foi justamente o Splinterlands, que já tem uma comunidade grande e amigável com novos usuários e que recentemente tem trabalhado para retirar os bots do jogos, abrindo caminho para os usuários de verdade.

Mas o que vai acontecer quando vários usuários descobrirem que podem ganhar jogando? Que seu tempo agora não é desperdiçado e que eles são donos dos seus itens para fazer o que acharem melhor? O que eu acho que vai acontecer é o seguinte, como não tem carta infinita, todas tem um supply, a demanda pelas cartas vai subir muito, então o preço delas vai disparar de uma forma sinistra. Ainda, para conseguir alugar um Deck normal vai custar bastante DEC.

Pensando nisso, eu já quero estar preparado, atualizando meu deck com novas cartas já da Chaos Legion para depois ir só escolhendo as melhores do Rebellion e incrementar as Lineups.

Cenário das Cryptos

Além dos acontecimentos envolvendo os jogos NFTs, temos o grande motor das cryptos, o bitcoin subindo com os rumores do ETF e a chegada do Halving.

O ano dos jogos NFTs de 2021 começou exatamente assim também, com uma grande subida do Bitcoin, o que me leva a acreditar que esse cenário pode se repetir, mas sem grandes jogos pagando rios de dinheiro.

Na minha opinião, essa nova bull de crypto vai beneficiar os grandes jogos NFTs como Splinterlands, Sandbox, Gala Games. Os jogos que continuaram construindo e estão prontos para a chegada de novos jogadores, coisa que antes foi inesperado, agora estão preparados, já sabem seus erros e os jogadores experiêntes de crypto também já sabem identificar os Scams.

Assim, o grande beneficiário desse movimento que parece cada vez mais próximo são os jogadores que vem se preparando e já estão nos projetos. Por esses motivos acho que agora seja esse momento, de preparar e ser paciente.

Mudanças do Rebellion e Como se preparar?

Depois de falarmos sobre o cenário, você deve estar se perguntando: "Ok, o mercado de crpyto está subindo, parece que os jogos estão fazendo boas parcerias, e sim concordo que o splinterlands seja um jogo que possa se beneficiar, mas como eu vou me preparar para isso?"

Eu também me fiz essa pergunta, e a conclusão que eu cheguei foi a seguinte. O que a gente sabe com certeza hoje é quais cartas são boas de serem usadas, então nada melhor do que melhorar as cartas que eu tenho e comprar cartas boas que ainda não possuo. E a coleção que eu acho que é a melhor para isso é a chaos, porque já estamos acostumados a usá-la durante as partidas.

Agora se você como eu não tem dinheiro para dar um upgrade no seu deck, o que eu fiz foi me desfazer das cartas Wild e focar apenas no Modern. Só que ai tem uma pegadinha, Untamed também vai para o Wild com a chegada do Rebellion. Assim, eu me desfiz das minhas cartas Wild e das Untamed para melhorar meu Deck.

Outro motivo que me fez me desfazer das cartas Wild, Untamed e de 1bcx é que elas não estavam sendo alugadas, não fazia sentido manter elas se eu não usava e não estava mais alugando. Ainda, toda vem que eu logava no Peakmonster eu via o preço das cartas cair, sempre caindo. Então eu mudei de estratégia, quero um deck para jogar e não importa o preço das cartas daqui a X tempo. Até porque eu posso usar as cartas para além do jogo, posso usá-las para gerar conteúdo para a Hive.

E tem ainda uma última razão para vender essas cartas, BOTS! Cartas que deixam de estar no Modern acabam viram cartas de BOT, já que o jogo retirou os bots do Modern, mas ainda deixa eles soltos no Wild. Por todas essas razões, acredito ter feito a decisão correta.

Como escolhi as cartas?

Uma funcionalidade incrível que me motivou a fazer esse upgrade de deck foi o Peakmonster ter feito uma aba em que os jogadores podem criar decks pré-montados para comprar ou alugar.

Fui em My Decks, All Decks e filtrei por PRO. Nisso encontrei os decks Starters recomendados pelo Bulldog1205, um dos maiores youtubers de spinterlands e que faz tutorials incríveis. Fui olhando cada um dos elementos e vendo quais cartas eu tinha, quais não tinha e quais poderia melhorar.

Os decks mais completos de bronze que eu tenho são os de fogo e de terra, porque em ambos eu tenho as cartas mais fortes do jogo os Fiends de custo 0. Sem falar que comprei a Queen Mycelia para o deck de terra.

Quando estava comprando o Fiend e a Mycelia percebia algo muito interessante. Eles estavam nos preçõs mínimos dos últimos 6 meses, e qual o melhor momento para comprar senão na baixa, né? A Mycelia eu consegui por $3,86, enquanto o Fungus Fiend consegui por $1.32, sendo que ele já subiu recentemente.

Durante as compras percebi mais um detalhe incrível e que mostra o grande momento em que estamos. Quando procurava por alguns monstros comuns de lvl 3, a versão comum e a versão gold estavam com o mesmo preço, ou apenas um pouco mais cara a versão gold. Um exemplo é o Scavo Hireling, uma carta neutra muito útil contra melees e que regenera o shield dos monstros. Uma copia comum lvl 3 está saindo por 0,15x14 = $2,1. Já a sua versão gold está $1,69. Isso não faz sentido, certo? Como a carta na sua versão gold está mais barata do que na versão comum? Por isso mais uma vez eu falo, estamos com uma oportunidade única para aqueles que acreditam no jogo.

Olha que cenário incrível, cartas nas mínimas histórias e cartas gold mais baratas que cartas comuns. Tem como ser melhor? Só se o BTC subisse para $35k. Ah, pera ele está em $35k rs.

Próximo passo

Ainda tem algumas cartas que eu estou de olho para adicionar assim que eu vender o restante das minhas cartas antigas. Eu penso em pegar algumas RiftWatchers assim que reduzirem um pouco de preço. Algumas do Chaos que ainda quero ter são: Grum Flameblade, os outros Fiends, Baakjira e Jared

Assim que estiverem disponível as cartas da Rebellion vou esperar abaixar um pouco os preços e ver quais combinam mais com as cartas do chaos que eu tenho. Em vez de ter rebellion e completar com chaos eu vou fazer o oposto, preparei o deck de Chaos e assim que chegar Rebellion eu vou completando o que faltar.

Por fim, o último objetivo é passar de fase. O deck atualmente é um max lvl de bronze, com algumas cartas faltando, com o tempo, eu quero ir melhorando um elemento, provávelmente fogo para chegar no prata com ele. E claro, depois melhorar o meu de Terra.
