Is Cloveria inspired by Morgana?
When I first saw the announcement of the new voucher card coming to Splinterlands this December, the name Cloveria MORTH'LANA immediately came to mind, and I thought of it having a name similar to Morgana, a character from the MOBA strategy game League of Legends. The outfit, the colors, and the name made me make this comparison, which may just be a coincidence. 
Morgana is a mage champion in League of Legends who performs long-range attacks, her most iconic attack being a cannon-type similar to a Kamehameha. The connection between Morgana's attack and the new voucher unit Cloveria Morth'lana is that both perform long-range attacks. Another interesting point of similarity is that Morgana is highly dependent on this cannon ability, and when she misses, she ends up becoming a champion of low utility. We'll see that Morth'lana has an ability that will make her quite similar to Morgana in that aspect.
Finally, the third aspect that gave me this insight into the possibility of the new Cloveria Morth'lana voucher card being inspired by Morgana is the color palette focused on purple and black, but with some red details in the scarf and also gold in part of the clothing and her hair. Her cloak looks like a type of robe that would be used by a mage. Interestingly, Morgana's sister in the lore is Lux, who in Splinterlands would be the Life element, so Cloveria Morth'lana could be a mix of Lux using a Morgana-like appearance.

Regarding Cloveria Morth'lana's stats, it's a very powerful card in terms of attack, because even at level 1 it has 3 ranged attack, something few cards have at that level. As for its other attributes, we can say it's "numerically balanced" because it has 3 HP and 3 speed, meaning 3 in all its stats.
An interesting detail is that these 3 HP, along with the Recharge ability, make Cloveria Morth'lana a glass-cannon card, meaning that, like Morgana from League of Legends, it's highly dependent on the attack generated by the Recharge ability hitting the opponent on the turn it's available to attack. It's a great power to deal extra damage, but until it hits the opponent it's quite vulnerable. Therefore, for those looking to use Morth'lana, it's important to develop a strategy that can protect it until its attack.
How to get the new card?
At the next levels, Cloveria Morth'Lana begins to gain some abilities that are essential for its survival. At level 2, it gains the Ambush ability, which grants it an extra turn, making it possible to attack more times even with recharge. But things change at level 3, when it receives Camouflage, making it impossible to attack directly unless it is in the first position. This makes the disadvantage of having low HP less impactful. Finally, at level 6 it receives double strike which will eliminate most opponents who don't have a shield.
Now, regarding how to obtain Cloveria Morth'Lana, it's quite simple. Just go to the Exclusive / Lyra & Lorn's Shop and a unit of normal rarity is being traded for 250 vouchers, which would be equivalent to almost $6 for those who need to buy all the vouchers, or it can be "free" for those who have a high stake in Special Players and earn the vouchers.

Quando vi pela primeira vez o anuncio da nova carta de voucher que estaria chegando ao Splinterlands nesse mês de dezembro, logo veio na minha mente ao ler o nome da carta cloveria MORTH'LANA a questão desta carta ter um nome parecido com a Morgana, personagem do jogo de estratégia Moba League of Legends. A roupa, as cores e o nome, me fizeram realizar essa comparação, que pode ser apenas uma coincidência.
A morgana é uma campeã maga do LOL que realiza golpes de longo alcance, sendo o seu ataque mais icônico um tipo de canhão parecido com um kamehameha. A relação do ataque da morgana com a nova unidade voucher Cloveria Morth'lana é que ambas realizam ataque longo alcance. Um outro ponto interessante de semelhança é que a morgana é altamente dependente dessa habilidade de canhão e quando erra, acaba se tornando um campeão de baixa utilidade. Veremos que a Morth’lana tem uma habilidade que a tornará bem semelhante à morgana nesse aspecto.
Por fim, o terceiro aspecto que me fez ter esse insight sobre a possibilidade da nova carta de voucher Cloveria Morth'lana ser inspirada na Morgana é a paleta de cores voltada para o roxo e preto, mas que tem alguns detalhes em vermelho no cachecol e também em dourado em parte da roupa e seu cabelo. A sua capa parece um tipo de robe que seria utilizado por uma maga. Curiosamente a irmã da morgana na lore é a LUX que seria no Splinterlands o elemento Life, então acaba que a Cloveria Morth’Lana poderia ser uma mistura da lux utilizando uma aparência da morgana.

Depois de abordarmos as questões mais inspiracionais de design e lore da carta, vamos entrar nos detalhes da carta, abordando os seus status e habilidade e da sua chegada no voucher shop, falando sobre o preço, e mais informações.
Com relação aos status a Cloveria Morth'lana, ela é uma carta bem poderosa com relação à ataque, porque já no nível 1 possui 3 de ataque ranged, algo que poucas cartas tem nesse nível. Já com relação aos seus outros atributos, podemos dizer que ela é “equilibrada numericamente” porque possui 3 de hp e 3 de velocidade, ou seja, 3 em todos os seus status.
Um detalhe interessante é que esses 3 de HP, juntos da habilidade recharge acabam fazendo com que a Cloveria Morth’lana seja uma carta da categoria glass-cannon, o que significa que ela assim como a morgana de LOL é altamente dependente do ataque formado pela habilidade Recharge acerta o adversário no turno que ela estiver disponível para atacar. É um grande poder causar dano extra, mas até acertar o oponente ela é bem vulnerável. Por isso, para quem buscar utilizar a Morth’Lana é importante formar uma estratégia que consiga protegê-la até o seu ataque.
Como conseguir a nova carta?
Nos próximos níveis a Cloveria Morth’Lana começa a ganhar algumas habilidades que são essenciais para a sua sobrevivência. No nível 2 ela ganha a habilidade Ambush que garante um turno extra para ela, deixando possível atacar mais vezes mesmo com recharge. Mas é no nível 3 que as coisas mudam, quanda ela recebe Camouflage, faz com que ela não possa ser atacada diretamente a menos que esteja na primeira posição. Isso faz com que a desvantagem de ter pouco HP não seja mais tão impactante. Por fim, no nível 6 ela recebe double strike que vai eliminar a maioria dos oponentes que não tiverem shield.
Agora falando sobre a questão de como conseguir a Cloveria Morth’Lana é bem simples.
