Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Today I wanted to do another card spotlight, and this time I picked one of the coolest looking cards in the game. The card is, Halo Wisp.

It is a Legendary Life unit and honestly, when I first saw it, I didn't expect much. Four health and one speed doesn't exactly scream "carry unit". But after reading its abilities, I started thinking this little glowing ball might actually be stronger than it looks.

At max level, Halo Wisp has:

  • 4 mana cost

  • 3 ranged attack

  • 7 armor

  • 4 health

  • 1 speed

What instantly stood out to me was the huge amount of armor.

Seven armor on a 4-mana unit is kinda crazy.

And that's important because one of its abilities depends on armor.

Sneak: Targets the enemy unit in the last position.

That means Halo Wisp attacks the enemy unit in the last position.

I always love Sneak units because they put pressure on support cards and ranged attackers hiding in the back.

Sometimes destroying enemy support units early can completely change a battle.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 𝟐: πƒπ’π―π’π§πž π’π‘π’πžπ₯𝐝

Divine Shield: Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed.

Divine Shield allows Halo Wisp to ignore damage once.

No matter how strong the hit is, the first attack simply breaks the shield instead of damaging the unit.

That extra protection can be enough to let it survive and attack one more time.

And sometimes one extra attack is all you need.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 πŸ‘: π€π«π¦π¨π«πžπ π’ππ«π’π€πž

Armored Strike: If armored, gains a melee attack that deals damage equal to remaining armor.

As long as Halo Wisp still has armor, it gains a melee attack equal to the remaining armor.

And with 7 armor, that's pretty insane.

Honestly, this ability is what makes the card really scary.

Your opponent might think they're dealing with a small unit, but suddenly Halo Wisp starts smashing enemies with massive damage.

Pair it with Protect or armor buffs and things can get really crazy.

I feel like Halo Wisp is one of those cards people underestimate.

At first glance, it doesn't look very impressive.

But:

  • Sneak lets it attack enemy support units.

  • Divine Shield gives extra survivability.

  • Armored Strike turns its armor into damage.

That's a really interesting combination.

I think it works especially well in Life teams where armor buffs are common.

And because it only costs 4 mana, fitting it into lineups isn't too hard either.

Overall, I really like Halo Wisp.

Not because it has a million abilities or huge health, but because it feels unique.

The combination of Sneak and Armored Strike makes it dangerous, while Divine Shield gives it a little extra protection.

Honestly, I think this card surprises people more than they expect.

And let's be real, it also looks absolutely beautiful.

Anyway thats it for today’s #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.

Its speed is not encouraging, but that armoured strike ability is a delight to watch,it looks like double strike.
Armored Strike always grants an additional melee attack equal to the monster’s current remaining armor β€” even if the monster’s primary/normal attack is Ranged or Magic. No armor,no strike. Very interesting ability.
