Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Alright so today was a bit different compared to my usual grind days. Normally I just log in and start playing matches non-stop, trying to climb, win, improve, all that stuff. But today, I actually held myself back.

The reason is simple, Season is about to end. And if you play too much and lose, you can actually get demoted. And honestly, after all that grinding to reach Diamond, I really don’t wanna drop back down. So yeah, today was more of a strategic chill day instead of full grind.

I still played a few matches, but very carefully. Like not rushing, not experimenting too much, just safe lineups. Even then, I was kinda nervous every match. Because at this level, even one bad game can mess things up. So after a few matches, I just stopped. Didn’t wanna risk it.

But that doesn’t mean I did nothing today. Actually, today turned into a pack opening day. First thing, I purchased 2,000 credits again. Yeah, I know I’ve been buying credits a lot recently. But honestly, it just helps with flexibility. Rentals, packs, everything becomes easier.

After that, I decided to spend a bit and open some packs. I opened, Gladius Pack, Chaos Legion Pack and Conclave Arcana Starter Pack.

𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤

I started with the Gladius Pack. Not gonna lie, these packs always feel exciting because you can get some really useful cards for guild battles. Some decent pulls. Nothing super crazy, but still useful. I feel like Gladius cards always have potential, especially for brawls.

Next was Chaos Legion pack.

Now this one I was actually curious about. The Conclave Arcana Starter Pack felt different. Newer vibe, different cards and honestly I was kinda excited opening it. I think this was my favorite out of all today. Some interesting cards, definitely something I might try in future battles.

Overall, today was less about battling and more about building my account. And I think that’s also important. Because at higher leagues like Diamond, you really need strong cards and variety. Even though I didn’t rank up today, I don’t feel bad about it. Actually I think it was the right decision. Sometimes playing less is better than playing risky.

What I learned today:

• Season end = play smart, not aggressive

• Protecting your rank is important

• Packs are fun but also kinda addictive

• Building collection matters a LOT

Also, I feel like next season is gonna be even more competitive. Because now I’m getting used to Diamond level, and I know what to expect. But yeah, still a long way to go.
