Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today I want to talk about one of the most interesting cards currently available in the game, Azhar Ibn Sulaim. This is a Legendary Fire unit and what makes it stand out immediately is one crazy stat: 8 SPEED.
At the moment, Azhar Ibn Sulaim is the fastest card in #Splinterlands, which already makes it a unique monster. Speed is one of those stats that can completely change the outcome of a battle, and this card takes that idea to another level.
Let's have a closer look at what makes this fiery Djinn so dangerous.

Amazing Stats
For a 9 mana card, Azhar brings:
4 Ranged Damage
8 Speed
3 Armor
9 Health
The first thing everyone notices is obviously the speed. Most monsters struggle to reach 5 or 6 speed, but Azhar jumps all the way to 8.
That means enemies will miss attacks much more often, especially when combined with some of its abilities.
Honestly, whenever I see a monster with this much speed, I already know it's going to be annoying to deal with.

Taunt: Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position.

Normally this might sound dangerous, but Azhar is built to survive being targeted.
With high speed, decent armor, and strong health, it can absorb a lot of pressure from the enemy team.
This also protects your more fragile damage dealers hiding behind it.

Backfire: When an enemy unit misses, deals 2 physical damage to them.

Now things start getting really scary.
Because Azhar already has 8 speed, many enemies are going to miss naturally. Every miss means free damage being thrown back at them.
It's almost like the opponent hurts themselves just for trying to attack.
I've always liked Backfire, but on a super-fast monster like this it becomes much more effective.

Phase: Magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks.

Usually magic attacks are guaranteed to hit, but not against Azhar.
Now even enemy magic users can miss because of its incredible speed.
This ability works perfectly together with Backfire.
A missed magic attack means another chance for Azhar to punish the attacker.

Shield Ward: At the start of battle, the unit in front of this unit gains Shield.

Shield reduces incoming physical damage by 50%.
This gives additional protection to your frontline tank and makes your entire formation more durable.
I really like support abilities like this because they add value before the battle even starts.

A lot of cards have Taunt.
A lot of cards have Phase.
A lot of cards have Backfire.
But very few combine all three abilities together while also having 8 speed.
That's what makes Azhar Ibn Sulaim unique.
The card basically says:
"Attack me if you can."
And if the enemy misses, they get punished for it.
Against slower teams, Azhar can become an absolute nightmare.

Azhar Ibn Sulaim is one of the coolest defensive monsters in Splinterlands right now.
Fastest card in the game
Forces attacks with Taunt
Punishes misses with Backfire
Can dodge magic attacks thanks to Phase
Protects allies with Shield Ward
The combination of speed and defensive abilities creates a monster that is surprisingly difficult to bring down.
Personally, I think Azhar is one of the most unique Legendary cards released in recent times. It's not just strong because of raw stats, it wins battles through clever mechanics and frustration for your opponent.
Anyway thats it for todayโs #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
