Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Today I want to talk about one of the most intimidating Dragon cards I have seen in the game recently, Rage. This is a Legendary Dragon unit and honestly, everything about this card screams power. From its massive stats to its collection of abilities, Rage feels like a true boss monster on the battlefield.

What caught my attention first was not even the abilities. It was the stats. At max level, Rage has a huge 16 mana cost, 5 magic attack, 11 health, and a solid set of defensive abilities. It is definitely not a card you can just ignore.

When I first looked at Rage, I immediately thought this card was built for long battles. It has strong survivability, scaling potential, and utility all packed into one card.

The card art also looks amazing. The giant red dragon with glowing eyes gives off final boss vibes. It honestly looks like something you would not want to face in a high mana battle.

What makes Rage even more scary is that it doesn't rely on only one ability. Every ability adds something useful.

Flying: +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying.

Flying is always a useful defensive ability. Many melee and ranged attackers can miss against Rage, especially if they are slower units.

A missed attack can completely change the outcome of a battle, and with Rage's already high health pool, every miss becomes even more valuable.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 𝟐: 𝐕𝐨𝐒𝐝

Void: 50% less damage from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

Magic damage is usually one of the hardest attack types to deal with because it ignores armor.

That's where Void comes in.

Instead of getting melted by enemy magic users, Rage can absorb a lot more punishment. This makes it surprisingly durable against magic-heavy teams.

I really like having cards that can handle multiple threats, and Rage does exactly that.

Weapons Training: Gives attack type and power to adjacent no-attack units.

This is probably one of the coolest abilities on the card.

Sometimes you have support monsters that don't attack at all. Normally they just sit there providing buffs.

With Weapons Training, those support units suddenly become offensive threats.

This can create some very creative lineups and catches many opponents by surprise.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 πŸ’: π‹π’πŸπž π‹πžπžπœπ‘

Life Leech: Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt.

This is where Rage starts becoming really annoying for opponents.

As Rage deals damage throughout the battle, its health keeps growing.

A card that already starts with a large health pool becoming even tankier during the battle is never fun to face.

The longer the match goes, the stronger Rage becomes.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 πŸ“: π€πŸπŸπ₯𝐒𝐜𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧

Affliction: 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed.

Healing can completely save enemy tanks and backline units.

Affliction shuts that down.

If Rage lands Affliction on an important target, enemy healers suddenly lose a lot of their value. This ability becomes especially powerful against teams built around sustain strategies.

I think Rage is one of those cards that can fit into many different strategies.

It has:

  • Strong magic damage

  • Great survivability

  • Team utility

  • Scaling health

  • Anti-healing effects

That's honestly a crazy package for a single card.

The biggest downside is obviously the 16 mana cost, which means you won't be using Rage in low mana battles. But in high mana matches, this dragon can become the centerpiece of your entire team.

Personally, my favorite ability on Rage is Weapons Training because it opens up so many fun lineup possibilities. However, the combination of Life Leech and Affliction is also extremely powerful and can slowly take over a battle.

Overall, I think Rage deserves its Legendary status. It's powerful, flexible, and very fun to build around. I don't own this card yet, but after looking at it closely, it is definitely a card I would love to use more often in future battles.

Anyway thats it for today’s #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.

Rage is a card in its own world. It takes something extraordinary to bring it down in a battle. Especially those very high mana cost battles.
