Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
It's time for another card spotlight, and today I want to talk about a card that looks simple at first but can become an absolute monster in the right battle.
The card is, Endless Ape.
When I first saw this card, my reaction was basically:
"Okay, big angry gorilla with lots of health."
But after looking at its abilities, I realized this card can become really scary in longer matches.

Let's start with the stats at max level.
Mana Cost: 8
Melee Damage: 4
Health: 12
Armor: 2
Speed: 3
Honestly, these are already pretty solid numbers for a Common card.
Twelve health gives it good survivability, and four melee damage means it can hit pretty hard when it gets the chance.
It's not the fastest card in the game, but it doesn't really need to be.
This card is built to stay alive.

Scavenger: +1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.

Every time something gets knocked out, Endless Ape becomes tankier.
In a battle with lots of units, this can get out of control pretty fast.
Imagine starting with 12 health and ending the battle with 18 or even 20+ health.
That's a lot of extra survivability.
The longer the battle goes, the stronger this giant ape becomes.

Deflect: 0 damage from Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast splash damage.

This ability is actually really underrated.
A lot of battles involve indirect damage.
Sometimes your strongest attacker hurts itself by hitting a unit with Thorns.
Sometimes Blast damage slowly chips away at your team.
Endless Ape simply ignores all of that.
No reflected damage.
No thorn damage.
No blast splash damage.
That's huge.
It allows the card to stay alive much longer than people expect.

Personally, I think Endless Ape works best in:
Long battles
High mana battles
Matches with lots of units
Rulesets where many creatures are expected to die
The more units that get defeated, the more value Scavenger provides.
And because Deflect keeps it safe from several common damage sources, it can stay around long enough to benefit from all those extra health boosts.
It's one of those cards that quietly becomes the strongest unit on the battlefield.

After looking at Endless Ape, I think it's one of those cards that gets stronger the longer you play.
It may not have five flashy abilities.
It may not be a legendary card.
But sometimes simple cards are the most effective.
Scavenger keeps making it bigger and bigger, while Deflect helps it ignore several annoying forms of damage.
That's a pretty nice combination.
And honestly, watching a giant gorilla become stronger every time something dies is kinda fun.
Anyway thats it for todayβs #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
