Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Alright so today was another BIG progress day in Splinterlands and honestly I am still kinda surprised how things turned out 😅. I started the day in Gold 1, and I was not even sure if I will rank up. Gold matches are not easy at all, like people here actually know what they are doing. But somehow, I managed to push through and reached Gold 2 🔥.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇

This was the rank up match that promoted me to Modern Gold 2. I have dropped the battle link at the end of the post if you wanna check it out. It was a pretty normal match. The rulesets were not that complicating. The mana cap was 46 and you could only use Earth, Death and Dragon cards. The rulesets were Melee Mayhem and Are you not Entertained?
I won the match fairly easily. One of my key units survived longer than expected (again clutch moments saving me 😂), and my damage dealers kept hitting. And then, Victory. Gold 2 unlocked.

𝐑𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒

After ranking up, I received 13 chest rewards 👀🔥. Now THAT is exciting. More chests = more chances of something good. But this time I did something different. I actually used potions before opening them. I wanted to increase my chances for better loot. I’ve been saving potions for a while, so I thought this is the moment.

Opening 13 chests with potions active felt different. Like every chest felt more exciting 😂. I won’t say I got something insane like legendary card or anything (sadly 😭), but overall the rewards felt better than usual. Definitely worth using potions I think.

𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝟏𝟎𝐊 𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒

I also spent 10,000 glint points to open an Ultimate Chest. I was saving glint for a long time, and today I finally decided to use it. Not gonna lie I hesitated a bit. Like what if it’s not worth it? What if I get bad rewards? But then I was like okay let’s just do it.

Opening that Ultimate Chest, the feeling was DIFFERENT. Way more exciting than normal chests. Sadly, I only got potion charges from it. I am not being ungrateful or anything but I was hoping for a really good card.

Overall, today felt like a mix of smart decisions + a bit of luck.

• Ranked up to Gold 2
• Opened 13 chests (with potions)
• Opened Ultimate Chest with 10k glint

That’s a lot for one day. I still feel like I’m learning tho. Sometimes I still mess up lineups, sometimes I still ignore rulesets (yes… still 😅), and sometimes I just get outplayed. But I can clearly see improvement. And that’s what matters. Also, I feel like the higher I go, the more addictive this game becomes.
