What to Tell Friends About the Wealth of Splinterlands

How do you convince others?

When you're sharing information with your friends about Splinterlands, you can choose so many different paths. The road you take is not the concern here. You can find many tributaries, set your boat upon one and see where it takes you, what beauty is brought around you; however, it will lead to the main rush of water, that impressive force that you cannot deny. And if you decide to row against the water's energy, you will know even more so the POWER wielded from that great river.

Everyone's personality is different, therefore, people have different reasons for wanting to hop in the boat. The trick to knowing how to "convince" them it's a good decision, to know what motivates them in the first place. I'll continue below if you find the human person as fascinating as I do, but for those who are here to specifically have a TOOL to help them convince others to try Splinterlands, well let me get to that next.

Here's a Help

I found on Twitter today that @aggroed shared 3Commas Capital analysis of Splinterlands. They've called it their thesis on the game, and it's a brilliant rundown of the MONEY to be made in Splinterlands. Here's the link, and I greatly recommend not only the read, but use this work that someone has so generously shared with us to invite your friends, co-workers, family, neighbors, etc. to try Splinterlands.

Be sure to credit 3Commas Capital, because they could be a big help for you getting others on board that boat.

Please remember though, we all are seeking the one river of MONEY, but our motivations are so different, so MUCH MORE important than the end result, that if you wish to convince others about why Splinterlands works for THEM, you must know WHAT that motivation is for them to find the river of life that keeps them searching! I am happy to give more knowledge about how you know what works, because I've studied it extensively since I find people so fascinating; therefore, let me know if that's something you'd enjoy reading in future posts. For now though, I'll keep it in the general sense.

Perhaps use a story, like I am today, of a traveler seeking a river that he/she KNOWS exists, but they aren't sure how to get to it. When you talk to people about money, it often has a stigma to it, and you can't get far into the conversation. So how about telling a story? That's what I find works well. Perhaps that's why I became a high school teacher. Please remember though, people are not necessarily interested in YOUR story, they want to learn how they can tell their OWN story, and how they can achieve that "happily ever after" ending. Splinterlands can do this, hands down, even with the new changes, you just have to SEE the vision that the OTHER PERSON is wanting to live, and then bring together those loose ends that they have not noticed yet themselves.

Splinterlands is Good Therapy

When I started writing this post, I wasn't planning to take this path (or should I say tributary? 😊). I was going to write much more constructively on what I learned from that great thesis about Splinterlands, but I realized as I wrote, how could I possibly say "wow you make money from the game" any more eloquently than that thesis which breaks down the FACTS is doing?

And yet, we have all know these facts and see these figures, all these great ways to make money in Splinterlands, but some people still aren't getting on the boat. Why is that? Because we have to appeal to them on an emotional level. Now SOME people are drawn just by facts, and those folks are already in the game. There are others though who need to be romanced for lack of a better explanation.

You can see that Splinterlands is great therapy for the soul. How is that? Well, look at the community! Everyone is winning something there. Granted, people like to speak about those who win more than others, but we all know that is what happens out on the playground at school and that playground was preparing us for the real-world playground of push and shove. We know which people to avoid that are just bullies who take. We know which people to gravitate to because of their positive energy. We know which ones need help and depending on if you're a "go it alone" kind of person just wanting your take, or you're a "let's build a community," or "it's all MINNNNNE" or "How do I do this? Where do I begin? I need help," you take the path of your choosing, but we ALL end up in that river, folks. We all end up right back together, and Splinterlands is a very great river of wealth to be riding right now and maybe you'll find your soul along the way as you battle through to find your destiny!

The Results are In

Either way you look at it, Splinterlands is the river you're seeking, and if you wish to share it with others, try to analyze how they approach life, and then that will be the way to present Splinterlands to them. I hope you will take time to read that thesis. And I truly hope you have found some "food for thought" in my post today. I know it's a bit different than most, but I guess I like to be a bit different sometimes. After all, I am a storyteller.

Have a wonderful day and thank you SO MUCH for reading this far! I hope you'll comment and tell me what motivates you to find the river of wealth in Splinterlands!

For over two years I tried to get my two sons to try playing Splinterlands, but they were too busy and didn't like boring card games. Now that the prices have skyrocketed, they are both asking me about it and showing some interest. Someday, when my senility has fully kicked in, they will probably be fighting it out in court to see who gets control of my vast Splinterlands empire!!!

Is hard young people understand that there are better games than popular league of legends, counter strike, fortnite and other free to play games, where your effort is not rewarded. Games on blockchaina are revolution and many people will complain why I am here that late, why I didn't was here before!

You said my exact thoughts, @atnazo! I've always regretted the time that I spent last year to the first half of this year playing Valorant. If only I played Splinterlands instead during that time, it would have been a way better use of my "gaming time". I really wish that a lot of gamers will realize it soon too.

Thankfully your prayers were answered and The rain stayed away until the day after the painters were finished. Now I hope we get a nice long rain. We need it. But hey, it's Summer in Kansas. Dry is our first middle and last name!

Hey rosie :)
This is a wonderful article :) Even though I don't really like the current choices and the way the game is developing, so I won't recommend it to a friend for now. Since reliability is too important to me in a friendship and I don't want to be the one who recommends things he's not 100% behind :D

I have a question. I haven't received any SPT from monster-curator in the last 3 days, even though there is still 10k of my SPT delegated to them/you. Is it normal not to get SPT for such a long time? Or is this a technical problem?

Thank you in advance :)

Great pictures btw. ^^

Oh and also to understand it better. I read about it, but do not see a function for it in Splintertalk. How could I in principle undelegate my SPT again?

Greetings

I'll see what I can find out about this as well. I would imagine it's just a button where you undelegate, but I'm not certain. I'll see what I can find out.

Well, somehow the SPT accidentally got changed, and then it changed back so you should receive your rewards again. It had nothing to do with Monster-curator but something to do with SPT, and I really don't understand it sadly.

Hey sorry for the late reply ^^ I had somehow missed it until now.
Unfortunately, I still have not received SPT from monster-curator. I hope that the problem will be solved soon ^^
About the undelegate issue, at least I found out that it is possible via Hive Engine. On Splintertalk I still haven't found the possibility :/

Yes, sorry I meant to get back to you, Toheadi! So they are aware of the issue and it's being worked on so hopefully the problem will be solved soon. I wish I had more details, but that's all I know at the moment. Hope you're having a good day!
