Pembrook Nymph 3D // Splinterlands Art Contest Week 260 [ESP/ENG]

Hello hiveans! This week I bring you an art of this card that has a design that I really liked, the truth is that I haven't played for a long time, since I don't have many cards, and reviewing the cards, I saw that there are quite a few new cards, I thought it was great Since there are now reward summoners, I think that if I play again I will have to learn many things again.
Anyway, here you have my 3D version of this cute character, I hope you like it

The first thing I did was a base to work on the body with MB-LAB, which I modified little by little.

After making all the modifications to the body and face, I also made a modification to the texture that MB-LAB offers me because I cannot modify the color directly with this tool.

To work on the hair, I extracted part of the head and added particles and modified them to taste. things that were difficult for me to handle to make the hair animation. For this I used a "harmonic" force field and made a follow path with a circle curve. Although I think I got ahead of myself with this explanation hahaha.

The next thing I did was model the character's clothing and then copy the body weights with the clothing items so they would move with the character when doing the pose.

Finally I made the pose and made some details that I had forgotten, although the detail is that these objects do not have the weights for the character's movement, although if needed, they can be placed to move along with the character, such as clothing, and at the same time Finally I made the animation that I had already mentioned, but there is also the movement of the eyes and a small smile, although with the low resolution that I rendered it, it may not be noticeable much.

Thank you for reaching this part of the post and for supporting me.
Here I leave you some more renders and the original art at the end ✌️😁

Now with eye tracking and expression XD Nice!

LoL painted uv maps always terrify me XD

I hate uv mapping ;-;

Are you getting into the smaller bones (like the shoulders, hands, fingers, actual head etc) to really push the poses?

I used a very good addon to create characters, it also makes the rigs, of course I had to edit the texture because it was not with the color I needed, this addon is tremendous to help you make the characters, and even with this it took me a long time to make the character completely.
Check the addon here https://mb-lab-community.github.io/MB-Lab.github.io/

I'm familiar with that tool, it's been a while since I looked at it. I was interested in how it set up rigs but I didn't end up using it because a lot of my characters have extra bits and at the time it looked like it was oging to be about as much effort to just model everything myself and use Rigify as it was going to be to use that.

You didn't answer my pose question :D

Yes, the rig has bones for the fingers, there are smaller ones inside the arms, although I didn't touch these last ones hahaha

Did you move the finger bones? I thought the hands and some other parts of the pose looked slightly stiff which is why I was asking :D Have you got the hang of the rig yet? I know they can take some getting used to sometimes.

yes it's still complicated for me.

Now that you mention it I notice it more XD
