Já faz algumas semanas que venho querendo compartilhar com cada um de vocês, um pouco do meu trabalho, trajetória e rotina…

I've been wanting to share with each one of you for a few weeks now, a little bit of my work, trajectory and routine…

Eu vou tentar não prolongar muito a coisa, já que são quase 3 décadas de histórias pra contar (nasci em 1993)... Mas vou tentar me despir. NÃO! PERA… DESPIR MINHA ALMA*!!! CALMA, GENTE! Não sou stripper!!! Digitei errado! Foi o corretor!

Enfim… O que eu quis dizer é que vou tentar mostrar um pouquinho do que eu sou, faço, e gosto. Mas repetindo: em uma versão resumida. Isso é um artigo, e não uma saga.
Muitos de vocês teriam sono se eu contasse tudo. Minha vida não é tão empolgante…

Anyway… What I meant is that I'm going to try to show a little bit of who I am, what I do, and what I like. But again: in an abridged version. This is an article, not a saga.
Many of you would be sleepy if I told you everything. My life is not so exciting...

Vou pular a parte em que eu deveria contar de onde vim, e passar logo pra "como minha cabeça funciona".
E a primeira coisa que você precisa entender é: eu não faço nada que eu não goste, ou sem uma motivação gigantesca!

I'll skip the part where I should tell you where I came from, and move on to "how my head works".
And the first thing you need to understand is: I don't do anything I don't like, or without a huge motivation!

Então, ou eu gosto muito de algo / alguém, ou eu simplesmente mantenho distância.
Isso já me fez recusar algumas oportunidades de emprego, ou "descartar" algumas "amizades".

So either I really like something/someone, or I just keep my distance.
This has already made me turn down some job opportunities, or "throw away" some "friendships".

No conceito de muitos, eu era um cara anti social, "desempregado e sustentado pela família". Mas, aos poucos, muitos estão quebrando essa visão que tinham de mim, principalmente depois que eu consegui alguns amigos fiéis, e comecei a ganhar meus primeiros dólares, aqui na Hive (conto os detalhes outro dia).

In the opinion of many, I was an anti-social, "unemployed and supported by the family" guy. But, little by little, many are breaking this vision they had of me, especially after I got some faithful friends, and started earning my first dollars, here at Hive (I'll tell you the details another day).

Pra que algo / alguém ganhe minha atenção, não precisa ser "extraordinariamente incrível"... Basta ser minimamente interessante (pelo menos pra mim) ou simplesmente divertido! Então, eu passei os últimos anos adquirindo conhecimento, aprimorando técnicas e desenvolvendo ideias próprias focadas em entretenimento, tecnologia, e sustentabilidade (basicamente, as bases do futuro). E foi assim que vim parar no mundo cripto!

For something / someone to gain my attention, it doesn't have to be "extraordinarily amazing"... Just be minimally interesting (at least for me) or just plain fun! So, I spent the last few years acquiring knowledge, improving techniques and developing my own ideas focused on entertainment, technology, and sustainability (basically, the foundations of the future). And that's how I ended up in the crypto world!

Meu objetivo com todas essas ideias, é não só me estabilizar economicamente, como também ajudar inúmeras pessoas ao redor do mundo. E é por isso que carrego praticamente as mesmas idéias, por mais de 10 anos!

My goal with all these ideas is not only to stabilize myself economically, but also to help countless people around the world. And that's why I carry pretty much the same ideas for over 10 years!

Na minha cabeça, se eu desistir, algumas pessoas vão continuar enfrentando os mesmos problemas… Problemas pelos quais eu mesmo passei, e sei o quanto podem ser sufocantes. Isso me motiva a continuar.

In my mind, if I give up, some people will continue to face the same problems… Problems I've been through myself, and I know how suffocating they can be. It motivates me to keep going.

E não… Não me considero "bonzinho" ou "de bom coração". Nem estou me candidatando a nenhum cargo político (sinceramente, tenho até nojo da bagunça política do meu país, Brasil). Mas gosto quando pessoas estão satisfeitas ou felizes… E acredito que descobri várias formas de ver isso com mais frequência.

And no… I don't consider myself "nice" or "good-hearted". I'm not even running for any political office (honestly, I'm disgusted by the political mess in my country, Brazil). But I like it when people are satisfied or happy… And I think I've found out a lot of ways to see that more often.

Creio que encontrei na Hive, uma boa oportunidade pra tirar todas essas ideias do papel… Espero que eu não esteja enganado…

Meu trabalho / My work

Eu estudei computação gráfica com softwares da Adobe e Autodesk por 3 anos e meio na Seven CG (a qual não existe mais) em Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro.
Aprendi edição de imagem e vídeo, além de animação 3D e um pouco de desenvolvimento web.

I studied computer graphics with Adobe and Autodesk software for 3 and a half years at Seven CG (which no longer exists) in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro.
I learned image and video editing, as well as 3D animation and a bit of web development.

Meu melhor momento lá, foi quando um dos meus trabalhos, foi elogiado pelo sound designer do Homem De Ferro, que disse que a edição que fiz (em um desafio que ele mesmo propôs), estava "á nível Full Sail". Conto isso em outra oportunidade...

My best moment there, was when one of my works, was praised by the sound designer of Iron Man, who said that the edit I did (in a challenge he himself proposed), was "at Full Sail level" . I'll tell you this another time...

Meu primeiro emprego foi em 2013, em uma agência de publicidade, onde eu mesmo me demiti (era chato e estressante trabalhar lá). Eu era estagiário, e ajudava a editar vídeos e fotos. Nada disso seria problema se eu também não tivesse que exercer funções de "Office Boy", e um dos vários clientes não fosse a prefeitura da minha cidade (mentiras e hipocrisia, também me irritam bastante)…

My first job was in 2013 at an advertising agency, where I quit (it was boring and stressful to work there). I was an intern, and I helped edit videos and photos. None of this would have been a problem if I didn't also have to work as an "Office Boy", and one of the several clients wasn't the city hall of my city (lies and hypocrisy, also annoy me a lot)…

Então, durante muito tempo (até recentemente), eu passei a trabalhar dentro de casa, como freelancer de edição de fotos e vídeos. Infelizmente, descobri da pior forma, que não era fácil entrar nesse mercado, já que tem muita gente fazendo a mesma coisa, por preços absurdamente mais baixos. Então, nem sempre eu conseguia clientes… E quando conseguia, nem todos queriam pagar.

So, for a long time (until recently), I started working from home, freelancing photo and video editing. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way, that it was not easy to enter this market, since there are many people doing the same thing, for absurdly cheap prices. So, I didn't always get clients… And when I did, not everyone wanted to pay.

Pra piorar, meu computador (que já não era dos melhores), deu problema...
Como as peças foram ficando cada vez mais caras, aprendi a recriar meu fluxo de trabalho apenas com meu celular... E os resultados me surpreenderam demais! Olha só isso!

To make matters worse, my computer (which was not the best), broke...
As the parts became more and more expensive, I learned to recreate my workflow with just my cellphone... And the results surprised me immensely! Look at that!

E todos esses resultados, estão longe de ser o máximo que dá pra fazer com apenas um smartphone simples!
Me apaixonei tanto por essa readaptação, que hoje não penso mais em trabalhar com computadores! Meu próximo dispositivo, com certeza será um tablet!

And all these results are far from being the most you can do with just a simple smartphone!
I fell in love with this readaptation so much that today I don't think about working with computers anymore! My next device will definitely be a tablet!

Inclusive, pretendo trazer aqui no meu blog, algumas experiências que tive com aplicativos de edição e softwares na nuvem (tem até pra desenvolvimento de jogos e animação 3D)!

Sim, eu sou hétero. Mas possuo gostos que fariam muito "machão do século XX" torcer o nariz. E na verdade, não ligo mais pro que acham. Pra mim, frescura é deixar de aproveitar algo, pra tentar se reafirmar perante pessoas que você nem respeita.
Sei exatamente quem eu sou.

Yes, I'm straight. But I have tastes that would make a lot of "macho of the 20th century" turn up their noses. And actually, I don't care what they think anymore. For me, it's foolish to stop enjoying something, to try to reassert yourself in front of people you don't even respect.

Mas voltando ao foco…
Existe muita coisa que parece assustar ou incomodar outros caras da minha idade, mas eu até gosto! Música Pop, filmes de comédia romântica / romance, animais "fofinhos", games com fadinhas... Eu pensava que a aversão a tudo isso, era só coisa de filme Hollywoodiano, filme brasileiro de baixo orçamento, ou memes do Facebook… Até descobrir que alguns que eram do meu ciclo de contatos, tinham "nojinho" de tudo isso.

But getting back to focus…
There's a lot of stuff that seems to scare or bother other guys my age, but I kind of like it! Pop music, romantic comedy/romance movies, "cute" animals, games with fairies... I thought that the aversion to all this was just a Hollywood movie, low-budget Brazilian movie, or Facebook memes... Until I found out that some of my contacts were "disgusted" by all of this.

Ironicamente, um desses amigos que eu tinha, não comia legumes, e não gostava de mulheres de pele clara ou cabelo liso…
E O FRESCO SOU EU?!
MULHER É MULHER, CACETE!
PODE VIR ATÉ PINTADA DE VERDE, QUE TÁ TRANQUILO!

Voltando ao assunto do tópico…
Quem convive comigo provavelmente vai me ver curtindo Dua Lipa ou Adam Lambert (além de Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, e vários outros nomes da música pop), assistindo filmes de qualidade duvidosa estrelados por ex-artistas da Disney ou da Nickelodeon, além de algumas séries pra adolescente ou animações que ninguém lembra mais (como "Victorious" ou "Os Padrinhos Mágicos").

Yes… I enjoy all of that (including older series like "Friends"). But I admit that even to the devil, everything has a limit! So: no, I don't like the "Twilight Saga". But " Vampires Suck" was genius!

Jogatina salvadora / A saving Game

Eu descobri essa coisa de "games play to earn" há uns 2 anos atrás, ouvindo falar de Axie Infinity. Porém, só recentemente que fui convidado a entrar no game (por um anjo que não sei se devo falar o nome).

I discovered this "games play to earn" thing about 2 years ago, hearing about Axie Infinity. However, it was only recently that I was invited to join the game (by an angel I don't know if I should say the name).

Mas antes de entrar no Axie, eu já ouvia falar de Splinterlands. Porém, antes de me aventurar competindo por DEC, eu já competia por SOUL, no Chainz Arena.
Cada um deles tem seu nível de dificuldade e seu retorno (no caso do Chainz, até entre os 2 servidores, existe diferença de ganhos)... Mas o que posso afirmar, é que todos eles já me deram lucros, e me ajudaram quando eu estava precisando de renda extra!

But before I entered Axie, I had already heard about Splinterlands. However, before venturing into competing for DEC, I was already competing for SOUL, at Chainz Arena.
Each one of them has its difficulty levels and its return (in the case of Chainz, even between the 2 servers, there is a difference in earnings)... But what I can say is that all of them have already given me profits, and helped me when I was in need of extra income!

Claro que no quesito "diversão", aí já depende mais do meu gosto… O que é divertido pra mim, pode não ser pra você!

Of course, in terms of "fun", it depends more on my taste… What's fun for me may not be fun for you!

E quando tenho algum tempo livre (quase nunca), viro fazendeiro com roupa de sertanejo universitário (Stardew Valley)!
É ótimo pra relaxar um pouco…

Uma Nova Rota / A New Route

Atualmente, não passo de um adulto brasileiro de baixa renda… Mas, em breve, pretendo ser um adulto EUROPEU de baixa renda (pra você ver que minhas expectativas de vida, são bem positivas Hehehe)!

Currently, I'm just a low-income Brazilian adult… But soon, I intend to be a low-income EUROPEAN adult (so you can see that my life expectations are very positive Hehehe)!

Mas falando sério: não pretendo ficar no Brasil. Ainda tenho grandes planos para trazer para esse país, que podem ajudar muita gente (e repetindo: não quero me candidatar a nada). Mas por melhor que sejam esses planos, vou precisar respirar um pouquinho e tomar fôlego, em solo português.

But seriously: I don't intend to stay in Brazil. I still have big plans to bring to this country, which can help a lot of people (and again: I don't want to run for anything). But as good as these plans are, I'm going to need to breathe a little and catch my breath, on Portuguese soil.

Existem algumas razões pelas quais escolhi viver em Portugal, mas prefiro contar quando eu estiver lá. Assim, ao invés de falar, eu mostro.

A @elementais, empresa matriz focada em entretenimento e tecnologia que eu e meus amigos estamos tentando trazer à vida, muito provavelmente também vai ser classificada como "empresa europeia". Infelizmente, nosso país está nos forçando a isso, por conta de uma série de problemas estruturais.
Espero que a Europa receba a Elementais de uma forma bem mais amigável do que o país onde nascemos.

Elementals, the company focused on entertainment and technology that my friends and I are trying to bring to life, will most likely also be classified as a "European company". Unfortunately, our country is forcing us to do so, due to a series of structural problems.

Esquerda ou Direita?! / Democrat or Republican ?!

À essa altura do campeonato, provavelmente já tem uma galera tentando descobrir se eu sou de direta ou esquerda!
Deixa que eu respondo: nem um dos dois! Sou um Power Ranger! E sim, eu não sangro… Só solto faísca mesmo!

At this point in the championship, there's probably already a crowd trying to find out if Democrat or Republican!
Let me answer: neither one of them! I'm a Power Ranger! And yes, I don't bleed… I just spark!

Eu pretendo criar um documentário (talvez na próxima vida, já que tempo tá quase inexistente pra mim) explicando um pouco sobre minha visão política.
Mas o que você precisa saber é: eu só existo.
Detesto esses conflitos toscos e sem sentido.
O mundo se acostumou demais a procurar culpados, e está se esquecendo de procurar soluções. Quando acha que encontraram, é uma ideia mais estúpida que a outra. Não tenho tempo pra isso.

I intend to create a documentary (perhaps in the next life, since free time is almost non-existent for me) explaining a little about my political views.
But what you need to know is: I just exist.
I hate these rough and pointless conflicts.
The world has gotten too used to looking for blame, and is forgetting to look for solutions. When you think they've found it, the idea is stupider than the other one. I don't have time for that.

Então: não sou ativista de lado nenhum, não possuo partido, e nem apoio nenhum candidato. Eu poderia simplesmente mandar todo mundo pra um lugar meio desconfortável (segundo informações confiáveis) mas meu nível de ética, a educação que minha mãe me deu e Deus, me impedem de fazer isso.

So: I'm not an activist for any side, I don't have a party, and I don't support any candidate. I could just send everyone to a somewhat uncomfortable place (according to reliable information) but my level of ethics, the education my mother gave me and God, prevent me from doing that.

Mas por favor: me deixem de fora dessa insanidade!

So please: keep me out of this insanity!

Ok… Posso ter me exaltado um pouquinho no texto (tão "pouquinho" quanto a quantidade de água no Oceano Atlântico), mas… É isso… Esse sou eu! Agora, com 1 ano a mais na minha biografia (mas será que eu devo comemorar, ou chorar?)!
