Bom… Já que tá todo mundo participando do Desafio Semanal de Batalha eu decidi participar também (apesar de eu não ser "todo mundo", como diria minha mãe 🤔)!

Well… Since everyone is participating in the Weekly Battle Challenge, I decided to participate too (although I'm not "everyone", as my mother would say 🤔)!

Mas, eu trouxe esse artigo, pra mostrar uma composição bem forte, que está sendo esquecida ou deixada de lado nos elos mais baixos, e que merecia um pouco mais de atenção e respeito…

Gatinho bizarro! / Bizarre kitten!

Esse é um dos poucos gatos que eu conheço, que não comeriam Whiskas Sachê! 👀
Isso porque sua lore diz que por ser um "espírito feroz", ele não come e nem bebe desde seu surgimento!

This is one of the few cats I know that wouldn't eat Fancy Feast treats! 👀
That's because its lore says that because it's a "ferocious spirit", it doesn't eat or drink since its emergence!

Mas apesar disso, a mesma lore diz que o Feral Spirit ainda pode morder e arranhar!
E pelo visto machuca bastante, principalmente quando ele chega no nível 7!

Mas ao contrário do que alguns pensam, ele não faz parte do "País das Maravilhas".

Destaque especial / Special Highlight

E é aqui que eu devo dar um destaque especial (coisa que não costumo fazer) para dois personagens, que geralmente funcionam muito bem em conjunto com o felino de hoje: Daria Dragonscale e Silvershield Assassin!

And this is where I should give a special highlight (which I don't usually do) to two characters, which usually work very well together with today's feline: Daria Dragonscale and Silvershield Assassin!

Quando alugam dragões, muitos players esquecem de trazer a Daria pra equipe… E isso com certeza é um erro, visto a quantidade de vezes que ela decidiu a partida!
Em um outro post, vou falar mais sobre os dragões do jogo, e explicar porquê eu acho a Daria tão importante.
Por enquanto, conselho: coloque a Daria na sua lista!

When renting dragons, many players forget to bring Daria to the team… And this is certainly a mistake, given the amount of times it decides the match!

Outra carta que gosto muito é a Silvershield Assassin.
Essa, admito que nem eu utilizo ela com frequência, já que possui um alto custo de mana e um dano bem baixo no nível 1. Então, acabam sobrando opções mais interessantes, em certas batalhas.

Another cart that I really like is the Silvershield Assassin.
This one, I admit that I don't even use it often, since it has a high mana cost and very low damage at level 1. So, there are more interesting options left in certain battles.

De qualquer forma, ela ainda é uma assassina "Double Striker" com ataque furtivo (Sneak)!
Jamais ignore a possibilidade de adicionar ela na sua formação! Você pode se surpreender…

A batalha / The battle

Vendo as condições de batalha, eu sabia que essa seria uma "batalha física", pois dificilmente o adversário utilizaria cartas de dano mágico na liga bronze, com o elemento Terra desabilitado.

Seeing the battle conditions, I knew that this would be a "physical battle", as the opponent would hardly use magic damage cards in bronze league, with the Earth element disabled.

Então, minha preocupação era totalmente com ataques físicos, principalmente de dano à distância. Seria bem provável ele utilizar alguma formação com o General Sloan.

So, my concern was entirely with physical attacks, mostly ranged damage. It would be very likely that the opponent would use some formation with General Sloan.

Dadas as circunstâncias, eu sabia que independemente de quem viesse na formação adversária, eu iria precisar derrubar rápido as cartas que estivessem atrás, e escolher um tanker com muita armadura ou resistência física (efeito da habilidade "Shield"), pra aguentar alguns possíveis tiros.

Given the circumstances, I knew that regardless of who came in the opposing formation, I would need to quickly knock down the cards that were behind, and choose a tanker with a lot of armor or physical resistance (effect of the "Shield" skill), to withstand some possible damage .

Com 28 de mana, e todas as habilidades de cura desabilitadas, não demorou muito pra eu ter certeza da escolha que deveria fazer…

With 28 mana, and all healing abilities disabled, it didn't take long for me to be sure of the choice I should make...

Daria Dragonscale

Como algumas das outras cartas que escolhi possuem um dano melee muito baixo, decidi colocar uma das minhas invocadoras favoritas de Splinterlands! Em batalha, ela aumenta o dano de todas as cartas melee em +1!

As some of the other cards I have chosen had very low melee damage, I decided to put one of my favorite summoners from Splinterlands! In battle, it increases the damage of all melee cards by +1!

Com o baixo custo de mana dela, isso também me deu mais liberdade nas escolhas seguintes.

With its low mana cost, this also gave me more freedom in the following choices.

Além disso, ainda se trata de uma invocadora do elemento Dragão… Ou seja: mais opções de cartas pra escolher, já que teoricamente eu poderia utilizar 3 elementos (dragão, neutro, e outro que eu quisesse).

In addition, it is still a summoner of the Dragon element… In other words: more cards options to choose from, since theoretically I could use 3 elements (dragon, neutral, and any other I wanted).

Djinn Chwala

Daria Dragonscale sem Djinn Chwala?! Claro que não! Isso não é obrigatório, mas você se surpreenderia pela quantidade de vezes que venci, graças à essa dupla… É óbvio que eu não perderia a oportunidade de colocar as duas juntas, mais uma vez!

Daria Dragonscale without Djinn Chwala?! Of course not! It's not mandatory, but you'd be surprised how many times I've won, thanks to this duo… Obviously I wouldn't miss the opportunity to put the two together, once again!

Além disso, a Djinn Chwala é ótima como tanker em condições de batalha física, por possuir muita armadura e bastante HP, juntamente com a habilidade "Thorn" (causando danos aos inimigos de ataque corpo-a-corpo que atacassem ela).
Also, Djinn Chwala is great as a tanker in physical battle conditions, as its has a lot of armor and a lot of HP, along with the "Thorn" skill(dealing damage to melee enemies that attack her).

Simplesmente uma carta quase indispensável, em vários tipos de batalha em Splinterlands!

Twilight Basilisk

Como a batalha era física, achei melhor colocar um "segundo tanker" com armadura. Por ter 3 de HP e 1 de armadura, mesmo se o oponente também tivesse uma Chwala, o Twilight Basilisk iria incomodar por uns 3 turnos, diminuindo boa parte da armadura dela, já que ele possui a habilidade "Reach" (a qual permite que ele ataque desde a segunda posição, mesmo sendo uma carta de dano corpo-a-corpo).

As the battle was physical, I thought it best to put a "second tanker" with armor. By having 3 HP and 1 Armor, even if the opponent also had a Chwala, the Twilight Dragon would be a bother for about 3 turns, decreasing much of its armor, since it has the "Reach" ability (which allows him to attack from the second position, even though it is a melee damage card).

Por ter apenas 4 de "Mana Casting", isso compensou um pouco o que gastei com a Djinn, que exigiu o dobro disso.

Because I only have 4 of "Mana Casting", this made up for a bit of what I spent on the Djinn, who demanded twice as much.

Celestial Harpy

Sabendo da possibilidade do oponente utilizar alguma carta com a habilidade "Opportunity" (que ataca sempre a carta com menor HP), preferi colocar a Celestial Harpy como isca.

Knowing the possibility of the opponent using a card with the ability "Opportunity"(which always attacks the lowest HP card), I preferred to put Celestial Harpy as bait.

E eu poderia colocar outra carta pra essa função, mas as habilidades "Fly" (que aumenta a evasão contra cartas que não possuem essa habilidade) e "Opportunity", fizeram essa carta ser a minha escolhida. O oponente precisaria de no mínimo 2 de dano pra derrubar ela… Se errasse (graças à "Fly), uma carta dele com HP baixo, seria o alvo.

And I could put another card for this role, but the skills "Fly"(which increases evasion against cards that don't have this ability) and "Opportunity", made this card my choice. The opponent would need at least 2 damage to knock it down… If it misses (thanks to "Fly), a card with low HP would be the target.

Feral Spirit

Preferi deixar "o gatinho da Alice" em penúltimo, por conta do baixo HP que ele possui. Não podia arriscar deixar ele em último, pois ele poderia ser morto por outro com a habilidade "Sneak".

I preferred to leave "Alice's kitten" in second to last, due to the low HP it has. Couldn't risk leaving it last, as it could be killed by someone else with the "Sneak" skill.

Também não poderia deixar ele na frente da Celestial Harpy, pois ele poderia ser morto por algum "Oportunista".
A morte dele, poderia me complicar bastante… Eu precisava evitar isso.

Also couldn't I leave it in front of Celestial Harpy, as it could be killed by some "Opportunist".
Its death could complicate me a lot… I needed to avoid that.

Apesar do baixo HP, ele possui muita velocidade e pouco "Mana Casting", o que é excelente!
Além disso, sob o comando da Daria Dragonscale, ele se torna um problemão para o adversário, com 1 ponto a mais de dano corpo-a-corpo.

Despite the low HP, it has a lot of speed and little "Mana Casting", which is excellent!
Also, under the command of Daria Dragonscale, it becomes a big problem for the opponent, with 1 point more melee damage.

E o **Feral Spirit" que eu aluguei, tem uma peculiaridade: é edição Alpha!
Escolhi ela quando vi que estava apenas 0.10 DECs por dia! Então, eu teria o bônus de 10% ao fim da batalha, gastando quase 20x menos do que se eu alugasse uma versão "Gold Foil". Um ótimo custo-benefício!

And the **Feral Spirit" that I rented, has a peculiarity: it's Alpha edition!
I chose it when I saw it was only 0.10 DECs a day! So I would get the 10% bonus at the end of the battle, spending almost 20x less than if I rented a "Gold Foil" version. A great cost and effectiveness!

Silvershield Assassin

Pra que ter 2 cartas com habilidade "Sneak", se eu posso utilizar 3?! De qualquer forma, utilizei só duas mesmo! 😂

Why have 2 cards with "Sneak" ability, when I can use 3?! Anyway, I only used two! 😂

Mas existe uma diferença, entre essa e os demais "assassinos" do game: ela possui a habilidade "Double Strike". Então, ela ataca duas vezes por turno, podendo matar duas cartas adversárias no processo, ou matando uma e quebrando a armadura de outra!

But there is a difference between this and the other "assassins" in the game: it has the "Double Strike" ability. So it attacks twice per turn, killing two opposing cards in the process, or killing one and breaking the armor of another!

Por conta disso, minha intenção era que com a Daria, a Silvershield Assassin desse um pouco mais de trabalho pro adversário.

Because of that, my intention was that with Daria, Silvershield Assassin would give the opponent a bit more work.

O Gato de Cheshire… Digo… o Feral Spirit poderia abrir a armadura do oponente (se o adversário utilizasse Drake, Kelya, Wavesmith ou Truthspeaker), enquanto a Silvershield finalizaria ele, e talvez até facilitasse o próximo pro Feral na rodada seguinte!
Costuma ser bem efetivo.

The Cheshire Cat… I mean… the Feral Spirit could open the opponent's armor (if the opponent used Drake, Kelya, Wavesmith ou Truthspeaker), while the Silvershield would finish him off, and maybe even facilitate the next one for Feral in the next round!
It tends to be quite effective.

Além de tudo isso, eu não achava que o oponente iria ter alguma carta com "Sneak" com dano alto o suficiente pra zerar os 5 pontos de HP da minha Assassin na primeira rodada. E ainda poderia errar, por conta dos 3 pontos de velocidade dela.
Então, deixar ela em último, não foi uma escolha tão arriscada quanto poderia ser.

On top of all that, I didn't think the opponent would have a "Sneak" card with high enough damage to zero my Assassin's 5 HP in the first round. And I could still miss, because of its 3 speed points.
So leaving it for last wasn't as risky a choice as it could have been.

Resultado e Considerações Finais / Result and Final Considerations

Aconteceu quase tudo que eu já esperava: o oponente realmente optou por cartas de dano físico… Mas escolheu o elemento Morte, achando que eu optaria por algumas de dano mágico que eu geralmente escolho.

Happened almost everything I went as I expected : the opponent actually opted for physical damage cards… But he chose the element of Death, thinking I would opt for some of the magic damage cards I usually choose.

Talvez o Zintar Mortalis quebrasse um pouco minha estratégia com a Daria… Mas o Thaddius Brood que ele escolheu, não conseguiu fazer muita coisa.

Maybe Zintar Mortalis would break my strategy with Daria a little… But the Thaddius Brood he chose couldn't do much.

Felizmente pra mim, as cartas que escolhi funcionaram muito bem!
